I just adore your Prince reactions 💜 "keyboard and guitar at the same time " 😂 . Yyeessss . Prince recorded ALONE. He had a engineer ( which he could've done on his own as well) other than that back then he only used a band 4 live performances. Fun fact , back then Prince didn't read music. I had all Prince's albums from his first, on vinyl until they started doing cassettes etc. The whole Controversy album is so great, I can distinctly remember listening to these songs when on the record player when I was in high school. I did see him live 2 times for the Purple Rain tour, they were all amazing. Thanks for taking us on your Prince journey!

Before Prince passed around 12/13 this was one of the few concerts or lives I could of Prince on KZbin. I played this concert out! I still love it.

It's interesting as he went on,he did family type concerts and didnt do some of those. He stopped cursing and even changed some lyrics, for example the song DMSR has the line "work that body like a whore" he still played the song live but changed it to " work that body like you want some more" later on his fans were older and he did shows that they could now take their kids to see

Like his music or not, there will never be a better love perforner. Most acts have the same show every night of a tour, not prince. He changed songs,extended them, played them with different instruments one night je plays guitar and the next night same intro on piano., he was just starting out here, when u get to stuff after purple rain you will see, like the lovesexy concert u watched

You should check out the video 'Prince - Nothing Compares 2 U (Official Music Video)'. It's rehearsal video from Prince & the Revolution that wasn't found until recently, with Prince's original version of 'Nothing Compared 2 U' over it. The quality is much better than this. It's around this time but maybe a yr or two later.
