4.9 hp is like a 6-7% gain...just from a tune!! If you had a car with 500hp, that equates to like 25-30hp....its a HUGE gain jsut from a tune.....and thats only peak hp. I would bet that you gained WAY MORE in the midrange, where it actually counts. You should post the graphs and see how he evened out your torque as well. You want an even torque line and you want the best gains between 3k- 5k in the rpm range.....yeah, peak hp is great, but you are RARELY at that point of peek rpm when riding....the true gains are the midrange increase and the added throttle response...THATS what tuning does for you and thats where you actually feel the changes. You could literally HEAR the difference in how the bike ran...which is FANTASTIC!!! All the delay in throttle is completely gone...that crisp throttle is what I want to hear and feel!!

Sounds like that bike runs much better. Now take the road glide to a shop that will work with your Thundermax. My Thundermax works great and my bike runs great but you need to connect to a laptop and make a couple adjustments to timing and AFR targets to get it dialed in for more power. Thundermax will adjust and your bike will run safe by itself but manuel adjustments will get it where you want it. Love your videos! Keep it going!
@Panhead_Andy10 ай бұрын
We also do thundermax at Prestige. Powervision is a much more in depth tuning system with more adjustability than t max.
@nonyabiz120910 ай бұрын
@@Panhead_Andy plenty of info on Thundermax vs. powervision. You want better real time adjustment, Thundermax. Smaller incremental timing adjustment, power vision. Any shop with a dyno always 'recommends power vision for obvious $ reasons. I have multiple bikes with both tunes. Both are fantastic.
@Panhead_Andy10 ай бұрын
Yes much more adjustability with Powervision. T max is a closed loop wideband system, stock O2's are narrowband. If you pair the Powervision with Dynojet target tune module and dyno tuning you get the absolute best of both worlds for less cost than a t max ecm

Have watched Andy & Prestige Cycle before on J.E.T. films. He knows his chit & was glad he was able get it to run better & more efficiently. Numbers aren't everything & since you're not going to race the thing at the track (street), it's good that you have a very street rideable bike.

Immaculate condition., sadly, I had to sell it., my ex partner has scammed me out of a lot of money, I ended up moving to France where I’ll now live, and I’ve just recently picked up an 03 model deuce, this definitely needs work to it. I think it’s been neglected very badly, It’s great when you can take your bike to somewhere somewhere, and you feel confident with the people working on it that you can trust , Thank you for sharing your experience ,

The term tune means to make it more efficient throughout the power band. Too many people think a dyno tune is to get the highest number HP possible. A bike tuned for top HP at max rpm may not ride and run good at all. A bike tuned properly will perform better and be more enjoyable to ride.
