I'm a bit late for this one, but I'm really thankful for PTFS, first roblox flight sim chain out there which if it didn't exist, we probably wouldn't see the simulators that we see all the time now, I love the game and how cozy and simple it is, it's a perfect game to make videos and a game you'll never get bored of, this video just ignited an inner self of me to remember why I truly love PTFS, thanks wes, and thanks to all the PTFS staff team for making such an awesome game.

While PTFS isn’t my favourite anymore (that award goes to Aeronautica because I love the custom liveries!) its art style is still incredibly charming. It’s almost like picking up little toy airplanes and pretending to fly them. It’s carved its own little niche in the Roblox flight sim space and I can’t wait to see what comes next for it. But calling it ‘the absolute greatest’ is an incredible stretch. The physics aren’t realistic enough and some things (that I understand may be out of Orange’s control) are really nagging me.

In my opinion, PTFS is not the best. It more of like a beginner-free flight sim more for playing with friends. Also, most of the models don't really look great, but with the new remodels, they are starting to look great! The map is pretty cool, but its REALLY small :( I prefer bigger maps with better models like Project Flight or like Aeronautice, like you said. Pretty cool game, but not the best (In my opinion) Have a good one!

Aeronautica is my fav honestly, simply because of the MASSIVE map and economy system that said, the physics in both Aeronautica and PTFS are terrible, and they're definetly not actual flight 'simulators' in terms of depth and complexity, I like Flightline, but the problem with that game is the lack of content and relatively small map also, both Aeronautica and Flightline have no proper cockpit views, which sucks :(

I’m back with more to say about Ptfs. (it’s so hard to contain these feelings) Alright so firstly I love Ptfs because of the style, it isn’t like most flight simulators which try to hard to feel realistic and at that point it feels LESS realistic; however Ptfs just as a unique feel and style to it that makes the game recognizable and honestly feel more realistic than its competitors. Secondly I love Ptfs because the the amount of islands, airports, aircraft, etc. With the game having almost 100 aircraft is pretty bizarre to then having airports like internationals, regionals, Air Force bases, airfields and strips, and carriers. And having about 12 different islands with a pretty big map just makes the game more enjoyable. And thirdly, this game is just amazing and I hope in the next few years to come, this game will become a true legend in the Roblox aviation industry. (And I just love this game so much I can’t keep it to myself) ✈️✈️✈️

PTFS is a great game, and yes it's nostalgic to some. But calling it the absolute best is a stretch. developers like jaymanlive cultivated true flight simulators with a place with airliners, and is continuing to do so with flightline. a place with airliners was revolutionary, it had animations, gear suspension/roll/tilt/turn, proper physics with a unique planekit instead of the usual cm32 planekit. And it wasn't even hard to learn, there was great variety in aircraft and airports. PTFS is still a great game and it always will be, but at it's core, it's not really a "simulator", it's like you said, a sandbox, a fun game where people aren't held back in the restraints of realism. There are simulators with years worth of development which work on the true simulation aspect, allowing players to feel truly immersed. PTFS allows it's players to lay back and relax, and have more fun. While true simulation games allow the players to feel like they're truly flying a plane.

My only nitpick about ptfs imo is liveries bleeding into the interior of the aircraft, the worst examples of this are airlines that have liveries that span the whole aircraft (i.e. southwest, klm etc.) because the liveries would go to the inside of the aircraft and it just ruins it for me. But besides that, ptfs is imo the best flight sim in roblox if you dont have the money for proper ones like msfs or xp12
