Puerto Rico must temporary use is money to complete the repair now, make a passport for our island, president for Puerto Rico and Vice President. Puerto Rico is a state. I know what you are going to say, not Puerto Rico is not a state. Well, just look at the Flag of Puerto Rico, it has a star. That indicate that it is a state, however the constitution of Puerto Rico said the following, El Estado Libre Asociados De Puerto Rico. In English it means the Free state of Puerto Rico in association with the U.S. I hope that answer your question. The U.S. give the state of Puerto Rico annually around 9. billion Dollars, but it takes from the state of Puerto Rico around 58. billions a year, and that gives you an example of why the U.S. don't let Puerto Rico free.

Juan Ponce De León first arrived in Puerto Rico in 1493 during Christopher Columbus second voyage. Not 1508 (where did you get this 😵‍💫🫣😳😂) What transpired that year was when he founded the Town of "Caparra" it's ruins are still there today with a small museum. He was Puerto Rico's first governor when he sailed to the Floridian Península and named it in 1513.
