Good discussion going on. As for Labib ibn e Rabia's comment on Soora e Kausar, it only shows Labib's intellect and sanity both. In Soora e kausar Allah is directly saying some thing addressing the Prophet (PBUH). Now what else Labib or any other big poet could say. Could any other poet claim any such thing that he (the poet) was in a position to bestow upon the prophet some thing like Hauz e Kausar. The answer would be ; NO. So no poet could accept this challenge. But this, not accepting the challenge by the poets of that time, does not reflect that they started believing in the Prophet's (PBUH) message as well. So with great respect to Waqas Sahab, this argument should have not been used to prove the existence of Allah (SUBT).
