I don't think Radiance is a bad ship for kids. It has a couple of kid friendly things to do but it's not good for kids either. Though there was a small amount for kids to do there are so many other ships that have more bells & whistles that kids love. When we were on Radiance, there were some kids but they were mostly bored and pranking people as entertainment which was annoying to guests. Radiance is more meant for adults or people in their 20s + who are content to chill on their vacay without running to different activities and events every second. Kids aren't sedate enough to appreciate that zen.

This is a super fair review of radiance. I cna completely agree with your assessment. I believe that if you're sailing with kids the best bet is to stick to the freedom class or above. It'll ensure there is enough to do to keep the. Entertained. Which ships do your prefer to sail with your kids?

@@amysturnkeytravel Let's face it. A kid's idea of a vacay is NOT to be on some ship that hasn't much for a kid to do and do touristy stuff in foreign countries. They like active fun stuff like theme parks etc. The more bells & whistles, the better. Independence of the Seas is a nice compromise. Lots of stuff to do but not so much that the price is insufferable. It really depends on the age of the kids at sailing though.
