In the instance of treasures, you gain a mana by activating the treasure’s inherent ability, OR, you tap a 6 mana thing and STILL only get one mana per treasure sacrificed? I must be missing something because i don’t understand where you’re coming from. To me, the real power comes from the fact that you can use clues foods junks bloods etc INSTEAD OF treasures to produce the mana (and any number of them) as long as you commit fully to what youre planning to do.

​@@TheIrrelevantYT to be fair, i dont think it will be too crazy. Tapping the Lotus means you can only use it once unless you invest other resources. It costing 6 mana makes it a hugely expensive mana rock. I feel like in commander its way to slow for competitive and lesser power decks wont profit too hard from it to be a problem. Maybe it will find its way into tron decks that wanna use x Spells or sth like it as a finisher

Concerning the Lotus... Target player in the card means this is not a mana-producing ability, and as such can be responded to before any mana is added to a players pool

Wow thanks I also never realized it and I checked it and you're right. Doesn't make the card that much less good though imo. Also the one color seems like a bit of a restriction. And also 6 cmc isnt that cheap to cast. So I'm not that worried about this card to be honest.

Radiant lotus may need to be banned because it doesn't exclude tokens, but since wotc is now in charge of the bans for commander it probably won't happen.

Sure maybe if Radiant Lotus didn't need to tap itself But to make this card go infinite you'd need so many moving pieces that you'd be better off playing a hullbreaker horror combo

It's a 6 drop who's ability can be stolen with a bolt bend... it's powerful, but not that bad.

Seems about right. Do keep in mind that this effect works for your opponents as well. So if they attack each other Gontis second effect will trigger

The biggest issue with the Radiant is giving the ability misdirected 😂Deflecting Swat or Untimely Malfunction I like the card I think it’s worth a slot in Commander but it could lead to some insane blowouts

Briefly, yes, just long enough for triggered abilities to see it happen, barring cards, like Rest in Peace, that say things just get exiled, instead.

Strictly worse Krarkclan Ironworks. Getting 3 color mana vs 2 generic ain't worth: Being way too expensive to cast for a mana rock. Having to get all the mana you want at once. {T} meaning repeated use requires jumping through hoops. "Target player" making this not a mana-ability.
