I’ve been playing since the beginning. And the quality of life improvements I have enjoyed the most have been about giving players some time back. 1. Lowering the level to activate the Instant Upgrade of gear 2. Quick Battles on Demon Lord 3. Rank Upgrades for multiple champs at a time 4. Instant Level Upgrades that will grab all 1-star and 2-star champs you can and throw them in as food for a champ instead of only six champs at a time Could probably list more, but I think that shows it. I am still hoping for more like this, and would really enjoy being able to level multiples of champs at same time as well. Like selecting maybe 20 champs at a time and being able to throw a few brews into each at all once

You’re definitely coming into the game with a lot of good QoL having already been implemented for sure. But fresh players can also always bring new perspective as well so I would be interested in hearing more of your ideas for new QoL updates, as well as other newer players.

Hey CeCe, I remember when I started Raid SL til now among the updates & it is for sure better & easier to start playing this game versus you playing the game from scratch which is a major killjoy overall, sure no game is perfect yet the gaming experiences do fall on you in how you deal with your own growth!

I started when you first launched your promo 49 days ago. I can say that as a new player, the lack of energy and silver make it difficult to really progress too quickly. I had a good burst at the beginning, but about 2 weeks in that stopped and now it is a real grind to try and make any significant progress. Thankfully they had the Odin dungeon at the beginning and I was able to get some decent gear or it would probably be a lot worse. Comparing this to Summoner's War, and it feels like the new player progression is not as good. Getting summons for new monsters seems easier and the same for mana to upgrade gear.

I think it's still worth it, but nothing is perfect. There are some aspects that need balancing and updates like mino lvl for exemple

I started four years ago and it was a whole different world. Doom Tower was pretty brand new, no Hydra, no empowerment, no dupe system. To be honest it was simpler but probably lacked for content. Once you had the level 20 dungeons on lock, really you have FWs and maybe tweaking your clan boss team left.

Its def saturated but like any other game just play to have fun. If you stress and rush too much then it becomes too much of a chore. As usual ty for keeping us on track with free rewards

Some advice for ppl using these new player links. Don’t take elenaril past 5 star, she works fine since her Hp burn A1 is her best ability since you don’t have to build accuracy. Take Sun Wukong, Uugo and Kael to 6 star, all 3 of those will be used extensively in the early and mid game for content such as clan boss, early arena, and dragon. Eventually, book Wukong and Uugo as they are amazing in Hydra. Kael is easier to book as he is a rare, so feel free to do that, but make sure to have some books available for when you pull coldheart/bellower and some of the other better rares.

Honestly, unless you plan to dump a lot of money on this game it takes FOREVER to get anywhere. I've been playing for years like maybe three years and it sucks to have a team with 250 power get beat in the Arena by teams under 100 power. So, good luck. There are some fun things about Raid but not many.

if u like hard long hard grinds where devs dont really listen to the playerbase or cc alike go ahead my passion for raid is gone i guess and hope other players and newer players still find the joy in raid

i think this video could have been better if you also pointed out the negatives of raid, its not all flowers and roses. Sure the game does not force you to spend but its not really F2P friendly, PVP its imposible for F2P especially if you are just starting, and sure you can spend time in whatever you want but the game does force your hand with events especially fusions wich are great but time consuming and they do force you to spend time and resources in specific things to get the champ, maybe you should make a video on fusion requirements so your followers can evaluate their acounts to see if they can participate in this because if they cant complete it they coul throw their resourses away for nothing. Lastly Hydra changes, talk about QOL improvements right?

@@MH-pu2fe that’s valid except I haven’t witnessed it yet so I can’t speak on it. As I said my account is very new so I haven’t felt the grievances of f2p vs p2w. I’ve also never let that bother me with games in the past. As it will always exist to some extent. As for hydra I didn’t get to experience the old hydra. That’s where I gave the question to the community of how they feel about Raid over the years and changes made 😊

Firstly saying this game isn’t f2p friendly is straight up wrong. Secondly no one is forcing you to do events. If you want to be able to participate in all events in a game without paying then gacha games is the wrong genre for you

@@thethc4818 maybe i didnt expressed myself corectly, what i meant is that the game has a lot of events or traps that promote resource spending in a way that can make progress dificult in the long run (for example progressive events) or events that require for you to spend too much resources like the freya deck of fate, this events in my point of view are aimed to promote spending, a F2P player can participate but must understand the risk of missing on future events, the way that i see it an early game player should try to use the resourses in the beggining as eficiently as posible to be able to kill at leas nightmare clanboss and to make a couple fusions, that way he or she can start having the chance to get sacreds for future events and progress in their acount so later as F2P they can participate in whatever they want. Sure you can play F2P ive always done it that way but in order to be able to play the game and have fun i think you have to be efficent at least early on

@@CeceRaid thanks for your coment, i didnt meant it in a negative way sorry if thats how it came across. My point its more that raid has a lot of things that look great but for people without experience it could make them "waste" resources and they could regret it later on. I started a new acount like 2 months ago i used to play a couple years back and the new player experience its way better now, promo links for creating new acounts its a game changer either yours wich i think its the second best or others help new players secure useful champs early on i chose rector drath and tayrel with the reasoning that upgrading them would be easy as they are epics and they are pretty usefull in lot of places and i dont regret the decision, then wukong being available aslo its key super useful legendary. My strat early on was to save resourses to make sure i coul do a fusion, i started in the middle of thor so i could not get him and skip the next one as well, i dindt love gretels kit but did go for her because i felt like i needed more champs so summoning on her events made sense for me. 2 months in ive made 1 fusion can 3 key nightmare and have 5sacreds for next fusion. This i think its a good way to try to start a new acount by saving resourses and aiming a good fusion (gretel its not ideal but the next one for example looks nice) then idealy the champs you pulled or the fusion can carry you to progress, to me its key to use the sacreds we get from campaing or progress mision like this rather than on a 2x but its just my opinion

I don't know, I think the game is fairly friendly to free to play players. I'm now almost 7 months in. I have been in Gold 4 of normal arena for almost all of that time because you can just farm the one man defenses people leave. I can do Hard Hydra, and probably Brutal too but haven't tried that yet. I can do 70% of normal Cursed city and 20% of hard, it'll take a while to get further in that. I am at 700* in the faction crypts. I unlocked Mithrala today, hoping to get Lydia in a month or 2-3. Now is that slower than if you pay ? Probably is yes, but it's honestly not that bad. It's just a matter of spending your resource with some more thought.
