Lovely people, it was a pleasure to be chatterbox Rachel’s next door neighbour at The Hovima. Thank you for the photograph at the restaurant and for being impressed with my swimming efforts in Cornwall.😂😂😂

That 'Focus', is back. There will be many brilliant races to watch in Paris but these will be exceptional; 100m Mens Breastroke. 200m Mens Free. 4x200m Mens Relay. 4x100m Mens Medley. 4x200m Mens Relay. 100m Womens Free. 4x100m Womens Relay. No doubt, all the other races, will be compulsive viewing with some big surprises and huge upsets 👍

Question @apraceclub - at the end, the lady in teal. Why does she have straight arms rather than bent arms on recovery?
@CK14110 ай бұрын
I believe that’s Anna Hopkins…. It’s just how she swims…. Just proves swimming isn’t a one style suits all, as it clearly works for her…. multiple medalist at international meets.

@@CK141 thanks. Trying to learn to be a bit less crappy! I’ll stick with my bent arm recovery I think 😀
@NRClips341410 ай бұрын
@@jaythorpe2536good because that is way more efficient. Straight arms is only for sprinting and uses much more energy.
@wendyhuang473210 ай бұрын
Sprinters use the straight arms when they are sprinting to increase propulsion. If you look at all the top sprinters in the world rn, that’s what most of the do
@NRClips341410 ай бұрын
@@wendyhuang4732 exactly, although, McCevoy and Andrew are top tier and don't use it, I think people over emphasize the recovery, and don't talk enough about what's under the water like their pull.
