Retail is definitely worth it for the price, you had 25 insert in 24 packs. I'll be buying Retail for Extended. Keep rippin!

Try selling those inserts though, nobody wants any of stuff..alot of times cards dealers buy off each other.

fix true, but if your not really into spending around $129 per Hobby box, Retail is you next best choice...Blaster and the Tins are just horrible...just my view

I find retail is your best value. Blasters seem to often have 2 base packs which drives me nuts. I bought a hobby box of this stuff the other day and the only card I got that i couldn't have in retail was a $3 black canvas- considering how much more you pay for hobby doesn't see worth it. I know eventually you could hit a clear cut or exclusive or something but when you are paying an extra ~$60 for hobby you'd need some pretty big pulls to make up for that difference. But I guess like anything else those that gamble on hobby get the big pulls eventually. I think a lot of people agree with you on the Dazzlers Red, they sell really well.

I collected cards for years, all base cards end up worthless, and getting a Young Gun of value is like one in ten boxes, better off just buying a rookie card from a dealer.

And here I am with a blaster box that effectively had three packs instead of five. It's a bad feeling when you're counting the pack wrappers twice thinking you got shorted. Two guaranteed hits and a 1:3 blasters Canvas didn't sit well.

I don't like the base set..the pics are too zoomed in, you don't see any game action around them...also I don't see the point of buying boxes of cards. The base cards are basically useless and worthless..When I was at the end of my collecting days( around 2011) I just bought boxes that had 4 packs and had a insert in every pack, usually around $100 a box....way more cards that kept their value. The best way to collect Young Guns is too make a decision yourself if you think a guy will be good and buy the rookie at a dealer BEFORE he plays a game in the NHL...
