On the overpowered thing. Triceratops and T.Rex were just as overpowered in real life. There is a reason we have so many Triceratops fossils and multiple full body Rex fossils. Those two were the peak of ceratopsian and Tyrannosaur evolution.

I'd already be happy if the Ptera could dig for frogs and crabs like the Galli. I've never seen a Crab ever since I played, only once found a Turtle. Going to the beach as a Ptera just leads starving or dehydrating. The only thing it can do reliably is fish and maybe snatch a frog when going for a drink.

Why nobody talks about trike: We have 1 quintillion big herbis, everyone is tired of the braindead experience. Every server is a bunch of huge untouchable herbivores chilling, then every single carnivore just hunting other carnivores as nobody plays the small herbis that are actually killable by them. Maaaybe you'll see a Cera pack hunt a lone Stego, if the stars align We 100% need Rex and Allo at minimum ASAP, and I don't even think Rex should be banned from officials. It should be slow enough that every other carnivore can just run away from it, and rely on ambushing and bullying others off corpses

adult rex should be the fastest apex... but just that, fastest APEX! you are right in that basically any smaller carnivore should outrun rex, at LEAST over distance. However young rex should actually be quite fast, it was supposed to be quick in legacy, but juvie rex only ran at 36 Km/H, making it slower than a lot of other carnivores.

@@highX-911 studies suggest tyrannosaurus rex and other large theropods hunted by walking efficiently, however if that was true in the isle, all the apex theropods would hunt the same way, and the game would become monotonous. Also we know that tyrannosaurus had some adaptations for both silent movement and explosive power that other giant theropods did not share, so if we are gonna make one an ambush predator, it makes sense for it to be rex.

From what I have heard and researched Trike is coming before Rex and very soon at that. It's missing like 2 basic things then it's Hoard test ready. And I believe Allo and Austro will also be added before Rex, due to Rex having multiple play styles being implemented to each of it's growth stages. Which some were still buggy last I heard.

What Some people don't realize is that Rex is a 3 Dino package. You got Omni but worse, Allo but slower and then adult Rex itself. Even if Rex comes out before Allo is added, Sub rex would do a decent job at filling the medium carnivore niche that it did in real life. Yes, to be fair, it isn't the giga chad that Allo is but It would suffice as an Allo placeholder. I just really wish we get Trike with Rex.

I was sitting in a river and an adult Dilo came drinking, and I was like, why would I even go for that, it wouldn't even fill half a diet slot? Even in real life Tyrannosaurus was dominating its ecosystem, so it must be very strong because only apexes should take it down, while something omni's size wouldn't even attempt to hunt a rex. On the flip side the problem with this is that this is a game and not real life. It's people who will play rex and the behavioral traits of humans is way more complex than a dinosaurs (also resulting in brainrot 12 yos playing).

What I don’t get espically with the “gore” update if you can call it that is that they stated that this was only Version 1 of the gore but why release something if it’s not going to be the final product. I understand that some dinos may follow this trend like dryo and the burrowing mechanic but a individual mechanic should not be incomplete espically a visual mechanic. Also marvel rivals gameplay would be snazzy 👍
