I hate how much worse the game category has got. In 2017 you could find all kinds of new games but now the front page is just these horrible gambling. games for little brainless children to spend all their money. On the front page in 2017 you had games like Jailbreak, Bloxburg, Assassin, Natural Disaster Survival etc, but now its just some obby or simulator that's straight trash designed to get little kids to waste their life and money.

True, most fo these games are just made by people who arr just too lazy to make a good game. Seriously. Lazy games including the simukators like you mentioned, free ugc and trash updates from pet sim X. EVEN A GAME THAT HAD LOTS OF PLAYERS MAKE TRASH GAMES. Gamefam, they used to be at peak in my heart but now... their games are horrible, uninteresting and boring.

the problem is, roblox isnt getting worse, were all growing up, thats not the only problem, ever since 2020 roblox just stopped caring about their players, everything went downhill, sure they did bring back egg hunts now but it still doesnt change, roblox has gone fully into the path that gives them more money. And the community is getting worse and worse, lets be honest 2016 was the real golden age of roblox, the community was as new and welcoming as it could be at that time, it wasnt that easy to find rude or toxic players as everyone then was young and just trying to have a peacefull time after coming back from school, now everyones grown up and the ones who still play it are most likely addicted like me, its easier to see the community's down side, there are alot of inappropriate groups that endanger children on the platform, its a big mess really, not to mention most games were simple at that time, this is a big reason why some roblox players love simple avatars, it reminds them of the old days like me, the games didnt need some advanced animations and models to be fun like todays games, all they needed was a simple concept and decent skill, nowadays (most) roblox devs stopped caring about fun games and just want money, alot of games copy eachother, and that keeps making even more copies, its a endless cycle, the only way roblox can recover is if they take action again, although there is hope roblox is realizing as they have became less transparent on twitter and even made a few jokes on the hunt about kreeks egg meme, so roblox isnt fully lost but its almost there, i hope this can get better soon as if roblox continues this path, eventually it will lead to its downfall btw amazing video, your very underrated :)

I have to disagree with Chapter 5. Seeing those old logos, that gameplay, those vibrant colors, the menus, the original, fun games, the youtube videos, those brought a huge smile to my face. Roblox isn't losing its fun. We're just losing the community. As the next generation moves in, they bring what they have with them. The problem with this is that they have been influenced by the wrong nature of things. What they define as "fun" isn't in our context of fun anymore. After almost being a Roblox player for around 9 years now, the problem is the community. I agree with the other things you have said, but tell me this, if you gave a grown man a broken branch which you found on the ground, he would still either see it as a sword, or a gun. We don't change, the world changes, and sadly, we can't do anything about it. Deep down, that inner child still waits around, lingering, waiting for that Pals video, or completing his chores to play on his iPad, the kid who would play on guest accounts. In the end, it's never about the destination, it's about the journey, and the friends and memories we made along the way.

multiple things have gotten worse, but there is one thing to do if you are bored on roblox, just play undertale: last corridor. in my own opinion, this is one of the only good games on roblox. im surprised most roblox youtubers can even make content anymore. and also, if you want original games, play any sans vs chara game or old roblox games like natural disaster survival. they always are unique (please note this is not an ad for anything its just my own opinion.)

Heres old roblox. Lots of friends... Fun games... Not very bad hackers... Kind people... No stitchface... Almost no bad... Barely any scammers... Roblox was fun. Now its not that fun. Except updates.

@@asfordgamess I agree. But, stitchface wasn’t *always* bad, it just the people that started wearing it for toxicity started making it bad and giving it a bad name. It started out as a innocent scarecrow face then turned into the icon of toxicity on Roblox

Roblox is the G.OA.T. like always but the problem is not games,community and moderation is way worser than before,also about roblox system,like categories removed,tix removed,oof sound removed...roblox games screen always fully of p2w games,obbys or simualtor,Roblox is still good platform as before but finding good game in roblox is too hard nowdays,also good games needs very good devices,like frontlines,i like frontlines but too laggy for my device☹️also some good games locked for mobiles thats sucks,however still roblox G.O.A.T❤😭

Yep. The community is getting worse due to the pandemic, the games are repetitive, nsfw or sus stuff is appearing more and more, and moderation is becoming worse. Also more stuff. LET ME SEE MY FAMILY AGAIN ROBLOX PLEASE!! IM SORRY!!

I feel like back in 2018-2019 and early 2020 you would click on the games page and want to have fun and you would find cool fair unique fun games as jail break piggy brickbronze but now when you click on "charts" its skibidi toliet brookhaven and like 42 dumb sim games and its just not fun when the only games are is gambling pay2win soulless games and the same anime game copyed like 10 times on the front page its just we cant have fun because game anymore becuase we like fun games but all roblox is now is just all about the money and thats what devs do like people crate 10 crappy games and make lots of money off of it wait till it dies move on and the cycle just repeats and some how this dumbass brainwashed generation finds these fun we can do nothing which is the saddest part about all of this its like watching your favorite childhood youtuber randomly get exposed for being a pedo 5 years down the line its i cant have fun anymore playing the 3 same games i like over and over burn out will catch up soon so i will likely stop playing roblox at the end of this year
