I have never seen RWBY so I had no clue the creator died or whatever is going on with Roaster Teeth. But that's pretty messed up that people will act like they know the creator just because they have to have an opinion and smear his name in mud like that just because

Yeah, it's very disrespectful. They may think they mean well but they come across so stupid

If people want to help keep the creator's name out of your mouth or learn to keep it to yourself. Because there is such a thing as overly negative

I heard even his brother Neath is getting tired of people using Monty's name to justify their opinions instead of standing on their own

@@rayhayes7701 And being overly negative can make you overlook positives

Yea, I agree that this volume is better than Volume 4 onwards, I recently come back to rwby after it was recommended to me, definitely can say that v9 is better than v4 onwards, could be the team finally have improved after so long. Hopefully it can last, I noted that many animator left because the contract expired so year hiatus for may be 2 years?

I really liked how you presented it ! I think there is far too negative on RWBY as a whole, and it's good to hear someone saying actual facts about qualities and flaws of the series than just saying what they would have prefered to see. Seriously from the beginning this show have a tiny budget, and is kind of unique in its genre, you can't have the same expectation you have with series from big compagnies, or as people consider RWBY as an anime, the same expectation of them because they often are adaptation of a Great manga by a good animation compagny, you really have to miss up for it to become Bad ... For me RWBY is doing just fine, it obviously has its flaws but it's still very interesting and entertaining to me, wich is the most important ;)

100% agree. I wanted to bring a bit more positivity with this video I might make another one reviewing the entire series in a similar style if people would be interested

Awesome vid, which is surprising. The only thing I "disagree" with (quotes cause not a full-on disagree but like a note or whatever) is "redemption"; as the show had no need of that. The ones attacking it and bashing it are 90% biased bad faith, sexist, homophobic (or ignorant in cases where its unintentional and just not knowing better), and even racist incels. That never were the target audience for it. Rebirth/Rekindling/Revitalization or something akin to that maybe could fit. Regardless v9 is definitely now my absolute top volume of the show cause of it nailing things across the board from animation to music to story to characterization. Especially that BB scene. Oh and thanks for doing a praise for CRWBY, then leaving it at that; cause I'm very much tired of having that sentiment ruined by someone turning it into a bludgeon. Cause I too am hoping that things do continue to get better (cause staff have mentioned steps in regards to past issues that did improve, so it's grounded hope). Not to mention members of CRWBY that want to come back to work on future volumes as well as see the show continue. I see the partnership with CR as being a positive force in that, cause CR = a premium service that can potentially support the show and staff for it better than it being free or RT risking raising the First price for it. Cause RWBY is no longer a small shoe-string budget show, instead requiring more resources that means needing a higher funding on the other hand. Which is why people whining about it no longer being free annoys me, someone in the line of production has to end up paying for that in the end. One fine thing: yeah, anyone that tries to bring up Monty to use against the show is scum from the worst sewage pit in the world and deserves to be torn apart mercilessly for it. Especially since his own brother has blasted the ones that do that himself.

I'm glad to surprise you, and I'm happy you like the video. I was hoping it would turn out well I agree, RWBY never needed redeeming, hence why I answer the opening question in the way that I did at the end. In truth, I just liked the wordplay there (plus Volume 9 makes every previous Volume stronger)

@@MattTGM oh yeah, also characterizations like a particular one at the start of the finale (not sure how deep into spoilers you'd want here). Really gives new perspective or layer to a character
