Elite episode but so many football howlers. I love Martinelli but he's only been consistently playing for 2 months and isn't yet better than Raphinha or even Saint Max. Jota can definitely count as a winger. Son is better than Sterling and could easily play at City or Liverpool. The past 1.5 seasons Mane isn't even top 3 wingers, he is quality but not better than Salah, Mahrez or even Jota/ Son. Grealish is a great player but can't be top 10 so far this season, he's been no better than Moura, Zaha or Foden who usually takes his spot in bigger games.

The argument from Tego that Mancity are an English PSG was honestly painful to hear. City compete against top teams each week and still have to compete with Liverpool and Chelsea who are coached by arguably the top two coaches in the world. The only team city actually struggle against is liverpool, even then city has two elite teams in their starting 11 and bench. Every other team city don't even leave second gear. City have won the three of the last four leagues and Liverpool one, same as Psg and lille. Plus like psg, city has been the richest team in their respective league. Heck city won this season's league in November and in 2017, city won like 15 games in a row without being challenged.

@@tonyejiro7641 Mane hasnt been on Salahs level for two years now, and he hasnt been able to reach the same.levels since then. You mentioned Mane was better when Liverpool won things. How so? He scored less, created less, assisted less. 18/19 and 19/20 combined, Mane had 17 assists, Salah in the same period had 27. So aside from scoring, which they were similar in those 2 years, Salah created more on the pitch. So you cant talk about overall game when its clear that hes been outperformed in various areas, even if he did push Salah close in scoring in those two years. You also mentioned Salah hasnt won anything without Mane being at his best. Which is hugely misleading given the fact that Liverpool were struggling last year due to a number of issues, mostly due to defensive injuries and the domino effect on the team from that point on. Salah was a huge reason they finished 3rd, as Jota was injured for a number of months, Manes form was nonexistant up until the last few games (and Firmino was a non factor as well). Mane is a great player and played at a world class level but hes not on that level and hasnt been since 2020, where as Salah has stayed consistent and elevated. 23 goals, 11 assists, in 26 matches overall this season. Its not close by any stretch.
