Hey guys, just an addition to the topic. The imagery of the devil mostly came from the Greek/ Roman mythology as God of the sea. Then came the separation of Christian from the Pagans that later on referred back to the devil holding the trident (3 prongs indicating destruction of body, soul and mind) as a mockery of the Holy Trinity. There isn’t much link to Shivan’s Trident though visually it still is similar and can come across as such. Also for the snake part, it’s because the bible noted that a serpent tempted Eve to have the forbidden fruit and hence the devil in the Christian faith came about as such. So this was actually what I did a bit of digging up on. And I could be incorrect as well however just wanted to share with you guys. Btw, love your episodes

1:05:29 actual reason snakes became a symbol of satan can be found in Bible (Genesis Chapter 3) Satan took the serpent as a mediator to deceive eve to eat the fruit that was forbidden by God. That's why snake/serpent became the symbol of evil or Satan. About the horn that was related to Satan can also be found in Bible (Revelation). The truth is Satan's appearance is not as how we all seen in movies or pictures that shows red colored with horns and tails. Satan can take any form to deceive human being according to their weakness.

hey bro, just to add something about the satan topic. it is actually god who created us(this is from the bible you can refer it at Genesis 1:27). So adam and eve story is that the snake(lucifer) made eve eat from the tree that god told cannot eat. since they disobeyed gots instruction they were chased out (Genesis 3:1-24).God did gave us the freedom do anything but the freedom of what satan says is diff from god. The church thing u told might be true not sure of it. Anyways still like how you convey all the sensitive stuff and a very decent and diplomatic way.Keep doing your best❤❤
