Volson has the fire and I think Peters will elevate him, OBJ, and Mims game to top 1-5 O-Line's in the NFL 😤😤💚💚

Great piece! I’m totally open to taking a guard to protect Joe, give him more time and open up the run game more. Yea. Defense is in a very tough spot, but protecting Joe is incredibly exciting.

Watching Sam LaPorta, Moro Ojomo, Nolan Smith and others this weekend made me despise the front office and ownership even more. They took BRAD ROBBINS over Moro Ojomo. Not for nothing, the Jackson Carman pick and other such idiocy ultimately gave the Bengals no choice but to take Mims, who I love, BUT....if they didn't put themselves in that position, Jared Verse was just sitting there. Utterly incompetent organization

Do you think Burrow wants the shotgun all the time , because the interior offensive line has always been so bad, he was tired of being creamed, or just lost confidence in getting under center? I think he could really be effective at play action. What say you?
@GoodberryКүн бұрын
I think he likes the shotguns and prefers it
@newfoundmoralclarityКүн бұрын
He likes shotgun, but I have a sneaking suspicion the abysmal state of the interior line for 5 years made him want to have nothing to do with play action

Passing offenses score more. But what do the stats say about passing teams and their defense? I’d assume a couple points higher allowed per game with a high passing offense (more drives, potentially lower time of possession).
@jeffslaughter691220 сағат бұрын
The issue isn’t coaching. It’s front office addressing personnel. Bad drafting, letting the wrong players go. That was the demise of Anerumo and Pollack. Tobin can’t continue to suck.

Good talk joe. The preasure is on, and it's because we have joe burrow. Missing the playoffs with a mvp qb got coaches fired. If this continues, taylor will not be far away being gone as well. Just having burrow, it puts preasure on the whole organization. Can't waist prime burrow and I think that was the main driving force behind letting lou go, they can't afford to wait a few years to rebuild the defense from the ground up. They half to get something out of at least some of there young guys.

In interviews, Pollack struck me as an average IQ dinosaur. A coach from the sixties or seventies. Peters seems like an innovative thinker, and a high IQ problem solver. I guess we'll have a better idea in 2025 if that's true or not.

So if these new “coaches” don’t preform like Duke an nem “want” how long before they are out? Or better yet, WHEN IS DUKE TOBIN AND THHE BLACKBURNS GOING TO GET A LOOOOONG LOOK AT AS WELL?? Maybe they need to start looking at the mirror. Don’t like Duke, don’t like Troy, don’t like the fact we ALWAYS bunt instead of swinging for the HOME RUN!!!! Another mediocre season loading…….

It doesn’t matter when Zac has Burrow attempt more passes than anyone, not to mention the 30th most rush attempts. It’s the most unbalanced, predictable play-calling. It’s not rocket science.

I hate the front office so bad. It’s incredible.. now they are going to make a statement, and make terrible decisions in the draft and completely ruin it.. I love the bangles but I hate my team again… it was short lived.. They fired two really good coaches so that they can hire an offensive line coach that has done nothing but subpar production .. and they’re looking at another couch that is yet again questionable to say the least.. so sad, I’m glad lue got out, the colts have a much better front office.. Compared to the league.. Cincinnati’s ownership and front office is a joke! It’s pathetic
@zaaawarudooo3269Күн бұрын
Frank Pollack doesn’t fit the scheme. Lou refused to play young guys and has never fielded a top 15 defense. A few good games against mahomes shouldn’t cloud your judgement. The colts FO is just as dysfunctional as the Bengals.
@georgemarischen871721 сағат бұрын
Your program is usually very good, but you stretched out and repeated over and over again that you didn't like the hire and that Scott Peters is not the guy with the right scheme. Just condense it down next time. What you said should have taken 10 minutes max.

So we fired two good coaches, Pollack and Lou and replaced them with two maybe good coaches. Hopefully it works out, but it's starting to look like the front office ruined the Superbowl level team we had. Also the front office always hires guys with previous ties to them. The truth about the Bengals organization is they're a below average ran organization, we went 30+ years without a playoff win and just now got a decent locker room and a indoor practice facility. Mike Brown made players pay for Gatorade, that's the man we're all counting on lol

I do worry a little if we’ll end up regretting letting Anarumo go. He’s a good coach. Just seemed stubborn and stuck to veterans but also was put in bad positions by losing the players he trusted and had success with and had helped develop. Frank Pollack absolutely had to go though. It never worked here. And I mean never. Even at the height of success this team had in 2021-22, his unit really had very little to do with it, and in fact was what ultimately took us down both years. He may be a good coach, in a different scheme. His strengths don’t match the Bengals’ strengths and vision.
