Is Shadow The Hedgehog Bad?

I'm having a blast playing through the Sonic series (this is shadow this is shadow). I can't wait for Sonic x Shadow Generations man it's going to be so good.

I have a love/hate relationship with this one. Love mostly because it's Shadow and the gunplay is fun. But the missions, the massive tedium and the controls are a pain.

I kinda agree, some of the missions are pretty fun but man there are ALOT of rough ones. I still liked the game tho

It's a bad game that has a way of playing it in a way that gives as much fun as a good game. Just be neutral until the very last possible moment and you'll avoid all terrible missions while achieving all endings. Terrible missions are mostly around edges of the grid, so doing pure good and pure evil playthrough is the way to get most suffering.

it fall into the trope of adding too much combat and breaking the pace, I notice it a lot in early 2000 platformer, like Pacman 3, if this game reduce the combat, just reduce it and not remove it and just make the goal to reach the end you get pretty good run and gun game which is what the expert mode of this game does anyway
