I get Frodo to a certain degree. Women hate patriarchy until it benefits them. They want men to provide, pay most of the stuff yet still want equality in salaries and etc. If you hate patriarchy, remove it as a whole, dont nitpick.

i lose you here. yes, patriarchy is a social system designed with the intention of benefitting men but its how society has implemented it which is a problem. cause at the end of the day, patriarchy is detrimental to both men and women and its up to us, as a society, to either 1. change the way we implement patriarchy in our modern day society or 2. remove patriarchy as a whole and replace it with an entirely different system. but as of rn, we as a society seem very happy in our complacency with option 1 and until that complacency with option 1, societally, becomes an adamant problem, the need for women to change their own internalised mysogyny isnt gonna happen any time soon

56:10 I want you guys to pay attention to how she laughed when he said men would appreciate that day. It goes to prove Mtho's point no one cares about a man's feelings and they never will. We are the ones who will go to war, work on farms, fix sewers, build the road and stay on the Titanic. A man's value only comes when he is a king or in modern day times a high value male. So gents keep pushing don't tell your problems to huns they will laugh like Thato did. Your main goal is to be the best man you can be and bad times will come so just accept it and tackle them. Fodo my brother🙌That sweetner arguement desreves to land on all the CONTINENTS. You actually brought about a valid point there when you mentioned how woman's rights' actually had a major impact on the lives of men. Yes, we agree that women should also have rights the same as we do, but the problem starts when the main points of correction (unequal pay as well as the law, and etc.) are left unchecked and monitored for so long that we(men) are the ones who are actually being done wrongfully by the systems that at first meant good towards our women.

Hi mtho my name is Babypandero and I’m a new operator , i really like your content and I actually enjoy it especially when you brought thato and lebo ❤❤ so I wanted to speak on behalf of fordo right , so what fordo means is that “ back then not only women played a role in apartheid, also men but they did it differently in such a way that they did not do it as a whole group but they did it in small group such as the group of Mandela , the group of Steve Biko and many more “so I understand what he is asking for. It’s not for mental but also everything that developed to that mental , also remember not only women were denied rights also men but women did it differently as they became one that is why they call it wathinta abafazi wathinti mbokoto , men did it differently but the media remembered only women because they became one. To sum it all up fordo’s chat is valid to look for a holiday only to celebrate mens struggle the way they celebrate women , it’s not that we want to overlook what they did but we want to also look at what men also did as there is a say called equality. Please i hope you read and talk more further on it please and I want to hear sino side of the story❤and you guys are great

I agree with Frodo. I think Mtho is overly obsessed with pushing basic toxicity as "the way things should be," many men are so good at justifying the suffering of themselves and their own brothers, and even of women, that they cant see the potential for how things can get better. This is why women who can see the potential for improvement have resulted in the growth of women's right, and their stature in society, while men like Mtho contribute to the stagnation of men. Dudes like this will see societal problems and fall for the myth that societal problems can be solved through individual unconnected and uncoordinated efforts. Frodo didnt land, because curtailing the rights of women is not a solution to unfair expectations and burdens, but he flew hard when he pointed out that you cannot have an equal society that still expects traditional gender roles from the majority of the population. For example, lets say 80% of women want and have equal pay and a provider man with a higher salary, only 10 to 30% of that number will have that luxury, the large remainder will eventually have to let go of that delusion and accept that theyre meant for a partnership of financial equals, and that means equal financial responsibility. You cant deal with a society wide problem with individual action and demands, nothing will ever change.
