Hi guys! Thank you so much for watching my video. We are watching, Episode 4, The Departure. Kaori encourages Kosei to play the piano again despite his childhood trauma. The chemistry is undeniable between the two characters!

yay! You're back! Yep, my wife would agree with you: "Guys are so clueless" We really are 😝 Their performance was a "brawl", because Kousei was leading instead of following (accompanying) Kaori. So Kaori had to change her playing to keep up and match him. Since they're both so good, it sounded amazing, but it was also jarring to listen to because you can kind of hear the battle between them. At the beginning, Kousei was accompanying Kaori, so it sounded more fluid with the violin standing out more and the piano in the background, but the later part is both the piano and violin playing loudly and against each other. Kind of like being with a couple where they are both interrupting and talking over the other when telling a story. 😅

Btw a scene like that can be pretty warm, so if you see like an example Ray Chen, he is sweating like crazy because of the temperature that holds all instruments right, so the sounds are maxed out.
