I have to say this i fell in love with lord krishna after going to iskcon only. krishna's alankaram & jeevam in the vigraha makes anyone to stand and just look at Krishna for hours. but i stopped going to iskcon after i had a conversation on gaura nitainaulu with a person doing the service in Iskcon since years. where he talked about why only lord krishna is supreme and all other gods including brahma vishnu and shiva as a mere demi gods and have no importance at all and since childhood iam a shiva bhakth and i didnt liked what that person said in iskcon and listened to pravachanams and myself checked scriptures which easily destroyed his explanation. he cant even explain one namam Kukshisthakilabhuvanaya in vishnu sahasranamam and replied saying that they dont follow anything besides bhagavadgita and bhagavatham. he even said it is fools who read all such things. and that's the last time i went to iskcon bhakthi without respect on vyasa proktha vishnu sahasranamam, other sampradayas, shankaramnaya peetams is the main reason iskcon is cracking down. but thanks to iskcon for making me a krishna devotee and chant Hare krishna maha mantram that to from a sanyasa who gave up his materialistic life only for krishna and bhakthi. thanks to the gurus and pravachanakarthalu for making me realise the truth.

If someone says, only my path will lead you God, all other paths are inferior to mine, then better to avoid them..they will be closed minded, similar to abrahamic religions guys... Those who see difference between hari and hara, hara and shakti, etc etc are not eligible to teach us anything about dharma...❤❤

I would like to point out some of the misconceptions you have about ISKCON I don’t support any trolling but can’t bear anything negative about devotees and Gurus 1. About Lord Shiva: ISKCON Devotees who have properly understood the philosophy know that Lord Shiva is not on the platform of Indra etc. If you ask them they will say that Lord Shiva and Lord Vishnu/Krishna are simultaneously one and different, just like milk and curd (Brahma Samhita 5.45). And they talk about Shiva with great respect. It is said in Srimad Bhagavatam, Vaishnavanam yatha Shambhu..Lord Shiva is the greatest Vaishnava (SB 12.13.16). Shiva is Bhagavan and Devotee at the same time. This is called achintya bhedabheda tattva, the inconceivable simultaneous oneness and difference. Also true ISKCON devotees don’t question the authenticity of jyotirlingas. What they say about Rameshwaram is that Krishna/Rama/Vishnu loves and respects His devotees. So He also worships them 2. Sripad Madhvacharya: Devotees offer obeisances to the Direct Guru, Founder Acharya of ISKCON and the ones who have appeared in recent times in the line of succession, they also offer obeisances to Guru tattva and Guru parampara which includes prayers for Madhvacarya. It is not possible to offer individual prayers for all the Acharyas in the line of succession for practical purposes 3. Distribution of Bhagavad Gita on roads: So many people have become devotees by purchasing Bhagavad Gita like this. In this age there are v few people who are actively trying to seek the Absolute Truth. So if we confine ourselves to limited places, we can’t reach many people. This is the mercy of devotees that they are coming out of their comfort zone and trying to bring Krishna’s message to the public if the people in general are not taking time out to do this. Just like gold doesn’t loose it’s value no matter where it’s placed, Gita doesn’t loose it value because it’s being brought to streets. The objective is more and more people should read it. Even Krishna wants this. What’s the point if you are just keeping it in the alter and worshipping it, without reading. I agree that Gita has to be treated with respect. But let people read it first, understand it and automatically they will start respecting it. 4. Authenticity of Bhagavad Gita as it is: Before questioning this book, we must understand the personality behind this. The translation and purports of this book are written by H.D.G AC Bhaktivedanta Swami Srila Prabhupada. If you read about him you will understand that he has performed so many great things in a very small span of time which are humanly impossible. He went to the west with only 7 dollars at the age of 69. He had 2 major heart attacks on his journey. In the span of just 12 years he built 108 temples, wrote more than 60 volumes of literature. Only a person who is empowered by Krishna can do this. Such Acharyas tell us about things which we cannot understand just by reading simple translations. Just like you cannot become a doctor just by reading medical books. His realizations are reflected in his purports. You cannot challenge his words. it’s better if you connect with some SENIOR devotees (not just a simple person who occasionally goes to ISKCON temple) if you have doubts on the book. 5. ISKCON creating divide in Hindus: Srila Prabhupada in many places in His book talks about how to bring in real world peace. Creating divide is not at all the objective. Infact it’s the opposite. At ISKCON, you will see people of different nationalities, religion(by birth), caste, creed unified for a single purpose i.e., Krishna seva. 6. Gurus of ISKCON: In this I am talking about those Gurus who are addressed as ‘Maharaja’. Yes, it’s true that for most of the organizations, after the demise of the prominent Acharya, the organisation starts falling apart. That is why Srila Prabhupada had v strategically made arrangements to continue upholding the principles of ISKCON. The current Gurus of ISKCON are majorly HIS disciplines. You can listen to any of their lectures. You will understand their sincerity, their selfless purpose, their love towards their Guru. Don’t see their skin colour and dismiss them as foreigners who don’t understand our culture. This is the science of soul and soul doesn’t have any nationality. Any realised man needs to be respected irrespective of their origin. 7. Should spirituality be kept just within our houses: This is one of the main reasons why youth doesn’t know even the basics of Sanatana Dharma. It’s preserved only by propogation. This is why youth doesn’t want to put tilak of kumkum in public but we see others are following their relgious practices with pride. Why can’t we openly follow our culture which only brings in auspiciousness to everyone around? 8. Do scriptures talk about Krishna being Supreme: Bhagavad Gita clearly says that there is no one equal to or greater than Him (BG 11.43). This is directly mentioned in the sloka, not the purport. Srila Prabhupada is bringing out the essence of Bhagavad Gita and repeating this message through out his purports so that we don’t loose the essence in the vast information of Gita. The points repeated in these purports are aligned to Krishna’s and Arjuna’s own conclusions ie., abandon all other dharmas and surrender unto Krishna ONLY (mam EKAM)(BG 18.66). It doesn’t matter if it’s going to receive acceptance from public. Krishna’s supremacy is confirmed in so many slokas of Gita and Bhagavatam. Brahma and Siva aslo glorify Krishna as supreme (Brahma Samhita and Rudra Gita). The Truth doesn’t change whether someone accepts or not. Also, it is not that only Islam and Christianity talk about one Supreme God, our scriptures also say so but they give us much more deeper information about God than islamic/chirstian philosophy. Because this wisdom is so vast and not every one is same and can’t comprehend things in the same manner., God arranged for such different religions, but these religions in their purest forms (not today’s corrupted versions) take us to the same Absolute Truth/Parama Satyam and this is Krishna as confirmed by Ved Vyas in 1st sloka of Bhagavatam last line- satyam param dhimahi

I completely agree all the points mentioned above. People who are pointing out ISKCON, should read the scriptures first. People who are sitting and talking over the video they are not bonafide spiritual masters and not read Bhagavatam, chaitanya Charitamrita and Brahmasamhita and various scriptures. Before pointing out the team should read all those and then come to a decision or expose. If you are really want to expose and know the truth about Krishna they you should interview Gauranga darshan das, Amogh lil Prabhuji and various renowned Prabhujis from ISKCON and they are well educated and can speak the facts. Vinod is an ardent lover of Sadhguru and he doesn’t like people talking about him but in the same way he should gonna speak to the gurus of ISKCON and come to a decision. IMO Most of people cannot take it when they say Krishna is the supreme god head reason being.Adisankara charya only mentioned in the verse Sloka Bhagavad Gita Kinchitha Theerthaa is taken from "Bhaja Govindam" composed by Jagadguru Adi Shankaracharya. Sloka Bhagavad Gita Kinchitha Theerthaa means, "If one reads a little bit of the Bhagavad Gita, drinks a drop of water from Ganga, and if he worships Krishna even for a small moment, he won't have any tiffs with Yama", the lord of death. Apart from there are references in his Sholkas you and your team needs to read where he quoted so many reference’s Krishna m. So, before understanding the complete scriptures and only taking part of it and stating Krishna is not the good that is lame. Vinod you should interview qualified people from ISKCOn rather than people just highlighting the text and spreading misinterpretations . Take care.

Through isckon you may begin worship of Krishna... But blindly accepting them isn't correct...they have manipulated gita...nd it's a fact.. There are many ways, many paths in hinduism, and krishnas path is one of them..there are many after paths too... respecting every path and following your gurus path is good.. సార్, ఊరి బయట నుండి దొంగలు ఊరిలోకి వస్తున్నారు అని తెలిసి ఊరిలో బలశాలులు అందరూ ఊరి బయట కాపాల కాయడానికి వెళ్లారు సార్. అలా వెళ్లి ఆ దొంగలను లోపలికి రాకుండా ఊరిని రక్షిస్తున్నాము అని అనుకుంటూ అక్కడే ఉండిపోయి, ఊరిలో అందరూ మనవాళ్లే ఉన్నారు - సుఖంగా ఉంటారు అని అనుకొని అక్కడే ఉండిపోయారు. ఐతే, అప్పటికే ఎప్పుడో ఊరిలోనే ఊరివాళ్ళలాగా కలిసిపోయిన దొంగలు ఊరిలోనే ఉన్నారు అని వాళ్ళు తెలుసుకోలేకపోయారు. ఇంతలో ఊరిలో దొంగలు వాళ్ళ పని మొదలుపెట్టారు. ఎందుకంటే వాళ్ళకి బాగా తెలుసు కాపాడేవాళ్ళు అందరూ ఊరిబయట ఉన్నారు. వాళ్ళు తిరిగి వచ్చే లోపు మన పని పూర్తి చేయాలని వేగం పెంచారు. ఐతే ఇంతలో ఏ బలగం లేని ఒక పిల్లవాడు ఆ ఊరి దొంగల ముఠాని పసిగట్టాడు. వాళ్ళని అందరికి పట్టించాలని ప్రయత్నించాడు. అప్పటికే ఆ ఊరి దొంగలు మంచిపేరు తెచ్చుకోవడం వల్ల ఎవరూ ఆ పిల్లవాడి మాట నమ్మలేదు. కానీ క్రమక్రమంగా అందరూ ఆ పిల్లవాడు పదే పదే చెబుతుంటే విచారించడం మొదలుపెట్టారు. ఆఖరికి ఆ ఊరిలో దొంగలు పట్టుబడ్డారు. అలాగే అదే సమయానికి ఊరి బయట దొంగల సమస్యలు కూడా తొలిగిపోయింది. దానితో ఆ ఊరు ఎంతో ప్రశాంతంగా ఉంది. ఇక్కడ ఊరు ప్రశాంతంగా ఉందంటే దానికి కారణం కేవలం బయట దొంగలను రానీకుండా చేయడమే కాదు, ఊరిలో దొంగలను కూడా బయటకు నెట్టేయడం. అంతేకదా సార్! ఇల్లు బాగుండాలంటే బయట సెక్యూరిటీ ఉంటే సరిపోదు కదా! ఇంటి దొంగ కూడా ఉండకూడదు. బయట దొంగను ఈసీగా గుర్తుపట్టచ్చు కానీ ఇంటి దొంగని ఈశ్వరుడు కూడా పట్టలేరు అని ఒక మాట చెప్తారు కదా సార్.

ఒక మంచి టాపిక్ తెచ్చినందుకు ధన్యవాదాలు.. సనాతన ధర్మం అంటే చాల ఇష్టం ఉన్న నా వివరణ ఇస్తాను చుడండి.. నేను iskcon లో లేను మరే సాంప్రదాయంలోనూ లేను..1966 నాటికి రోజు రోజుకి హిందువులు పెద్ద సంఖ్యలో మతం మారుతున్నారు.. కారణం ఏంటో తెలుసా.. స్వామి వివేకానంద ప్రపంచమంతా తిరిగారు.. ఒక్క క్రైస్తవుడను కానీ ముస్లింని కానీ హిందూ మతంలోకి తీస్కొని రాలేకపోయారు.. ఆఖరికి అయన పక్కనే తిరిగిన "margeret noble" అనే అమ్మాయి కూడా హిందూ మతం లోకి మారలేదు. .కేవలం పేరు మాత్రమే నివేదిత అని పెట్టుకుంది.. మీరు చెప్పే సద్గురువు అయినా ఈషా ఫౌండర్ కి ప్రపంచమంతా ఫాలోయర్స్ ఉన్నారు కానీ ఎవ్వడు కూడా మతం మారలేదు.. ఎంతో మంది పీఠాధిపతులు, మఠాధిపతులు ప్రపంచమంతా తిరిగారు.. కనీసం ఒక 100 మందిని కూడా హిందూ మతంలోకి తీస్కొని రాలేకపోయారు.. కారణం వాళ్ళు ఎంచుకున్న విధానం, అక్కర్లేని బోధనలు.. కానీ ఒక్క మహానుభావుడు మాత్రమే 1966 లో 70 సంవత్సరాల వృద్ధ వయసులో అమెరికాకు వెళ్లి పాషండ మతస్తులను కూడా హిందూ మతంలోకి తీసుకొచ్చారు.. ప్రపంచమంతా తిరిగి హిందూ మతానికి ఆయువు ఐన పునర్జన్మ సిద్ధాంతాన్ని, కర్మ సిద్ధాంతాన్ని, సనాతన ధర్మానికి మూలమైన భగవద్గితను, భాగవతాన్ని ప్రపంచానికి పరిచయం చేసాడు.. వేల కొద్దీ హిందూ దేవాలయాలను పాకిస్తాన్ లాంటి ఇస్లామిక్ దేశం లో కూడా కట్టించాడు.. క్రైస్తవ, ఇస్లాం, జూ, చైనీస్, జపనీస్ వంటి మతస్తులను కూడా హిందూ మతంలోకి తీసుకొచ్చారు.. వైదిక సంప్రదాయాన్ని పరిచయం చేశారు.. మిగతా సంప్రదాయాలు చేయలేక పోవడానికి, Isckon మాత్రమే చెయ్యడానికి గల కారణం ఏంటి తెలుసా.. ఒక్కటే... ఏది ప్రచారం చెయ్యాలో వాళ్ళు దాన్ని ప్రచారం చేస్తున్నారు.. ఏది అక్కర్లేదు మన వాళ్ళు దాన్ని ప్రచారం చేస్తున్నారు.. శివుడిని Demi God అన్న దానికి మీరు ఫీల్ అవ్వాల్సిన పని లేదు.. సాక్షాత్తు శివుడే చెప్పుకున్నాడు..పార్వతి, నేను పరమ విష్ణు భక్తుడను.. ఆయన్ను ఎవరు ఎమన్నా మొదట బాధ పడేది నేనే.. అది శివ కేశవుల యొక్క అవినాభావ సంబంధం.. వాళ్లిదరు చాల తెలివిగళ్ళ వారు.. ఇక పాషండులు అన్నారు మీరు.. iskcon వాళ్ళు పాషండులు అని చెప్పింది దేవతల గురించి కాదు, శివ, బ్రాహ్మలు గురించి కాదు.. పాషండ మతస్తుల గురించి.. దేవుడు లేదు, ఇదంతా సూన్యం అని వితండ వాదం చేసే అవైదిక ముర్కులను మాత్రమే.. నేను చాల iskcon పుస్తకాల్లను చదివాను.. అవి చదవడం వలన భగవంతుడి మీద భక్తి, సనాతన ధర్మం మీద ఆసక్తి పెరిగిందే తప్ప తగ్గలేదు.. కాబట్టి ఇస్కకం వారు చేస్తున్నది ౧౦౦ కి ౧౦౦ శాతం కరెక్ట్.. వాళ్ళను అలాగే వైదిక మార్గంలో వెళ్లనివ్వండి.. బాబాలు, సాయబులు, అద్వైతాలు, తాయత్తులు, ఏసు క్రీస్తులు అంటూ పిచ్చి ప్రచారాలు చెయ్యకండి.. జై శ్రీ రామ్ జై శ్రీ కృష్ణ పరమాత్మా జై మహాదేవ్

Here Krishna is saying that from all the Vedas he is to be known. They are not teaching which is not in the shastra. However, our Puranas teach us that the debate over who is superior-Shiva or Vishnu-is unnecessary. It's not about choosing between Shiva or Vishnu. It's about understanding that there is no difference between them. They are one and the same: Hari and Hara.

When you say "so-called gurus", remember you are talking about Madhvacharya who was born in Udupi which is a place in Karnataka(India) and he was not African. Ramanujacharya was born Sriperumubudur, near Chennai, Tamil Nadu and he was not Chinese. They propagated the idea of supremacy of Vishnu. Madhvacharya was born in 1238 AD and Ramanujacharya was born in 1077 AD, much much before British came here. The idea of supremacy of Vishnu is not British, Mongolian, Chinese, African or some other ethnicity. It's Indian only.

As the name iskcon indicates ( International society for krishna consciousness), it is meant for those who want to become pure devotees of Lord Krishna only, by knowing what and who actually Krishna is. Lord Krishna told in gita that , his devotees reach his supreme abode, but devotees of other gods and goddesses reach their respective abodes. So, all paths, all methods, all devotees, do not reach the same destination. Destination varies as per the path chosen.

Hare Krsna dear Anchors, interviewers, and those giving interview, I believe your concern is genuine and appreciate your patience although I am not impressed by some words used especially by Vinodh ji. I personally appreciate him and used to follow him until his channel was deleted. My personal advice to all 3 of you is to have a meeting with an established senior devotee from Iskcon. It could be HG Amogh Lila prabhuji whose video you used here. I am sure that you will get those answers and clarity about many things discussed here. Last but not the least, the concern about Gods that you shown from the book are a matter of discussion and disagreement is natural owing to the ambit of Sanatana dharma which you and all of us are trying to represent and defend. Discussion is the only way and with THE RIGHT PERSON. Its not a simple social media pep talk. This debate about Siva and Kesava is perennial and will continue. We need not vilify one group out of them. But we definitely need to have patience and tolerance to understand things in totality and actuality. And as Bhagavad Gita says "tasmat sastram pramanam...." our discussion shall essentially centre around sastric evidence. That is also austerity of speech. (Anudvega karam vakyam satyam priya hitam ca yat svadhyaya abhyasanam caiva vajnmayam tapa ucyate). The challenge is that these guys themselves don't understand the philosophy. When you look at Shiva is formless Brahman, then Shiva isn't a demigod (greek word for devata). When you see Shiva as a person, then Shiva is a devata as confirmed by Ramanujacharya and Madhvacharya. Iskcon says Vishnu and Shiva are like milk and curd. Half cooked understanding is dangerous and creates unnecessary misunderstanding.

Namaste, we all came out of shiva Vs vishnu or vaishnava differences over last 1000 or more years. Please don't take us back to those days again. Truly Sanathana Dharma is based on the 'truth' (satyam) beyond any religions/gods/other humanly created concepts. I always fascinated by the descriptions of the universe creation to our sun and planets in our scriptures (vedas/puranas/bhagavatgita) and us. It tells us to use our mind/intelligence (manas/buddhi) to realize ourselves who truly we are and contemplate ourselves with oneness with the whole creation or the source or God to get away from all miseries of this world. Yes. We have many gods in our sanathana dharma and just understand them in terms of the 'roles' of same parabrahma or narayana or paramashiva. Just like a person plays roles of father, brother, son, friend etc..There should be no confusion among it and we need to take this concept to younger generations instead of creating differences or any discussions on it. Please don't forget our ancient concept of "Ekam Sad Vipra Bahudha Vadanti" which means "One God Is Worshipped In Different Names".

Yes, this was certainly a sensible discussion. I wish to clarify about the sampradaya iskcon is Gaudiya Vaishnava sampradaya. An organization is made of ppl we might have some ppl who want to put their perspective that’s the greatness of Sanathana dharma. Some ppl may be incorrect. My personal opinion is when you do the service you will near to realization. You can be associated with any orgn. Pl do good to ppl and service with clear understanding of Bhagavatam should be read to realize about Krishna. I do agree no one should talk negative about other orgn and should be embracing positivity only.

మనకు ప్రధానంగా తెలియాల్సింది ఒక్కటే.... మన సంప్రదాయం ప్రకారం మనం నడుచుకోవడం అన్నది చాలా ప్రధానమైనది ఇక్కడ... భారతదేశంలో శైవం, వైష్ణవం, గాణాపత్యం ఇలా రకరకాల ఆరాధన పద్ధతుల్ని వారి వారి జీవితశైలిలో అనుకరిస్తున్నవారు ఉన్నారు. అద్వైత సంప్రదాయం ప్రకారం ఉండి పంచాయతన పద్ధతిలో ఆరాధన చేసేవారు పెక్కువారు ఉండవచ్చుగాక.., కానీ అద్వైత సిద్ధాంత ప్రకారమే మేమున్నాం కనుక మేము చెప్పిందే వేదమౌతుంది అని శివుడు- విష్ణువు ఒక్కరే అనడం కూడా పద్ధతి కాదు. మిగిలిన (సంప్రదాయవాదుల) మాటల్నికూడా పరిగణనలోకి తీసుకోవాల్సిన అవసరం తప్పనిసరిగా ఉంటుంది. ఇస్కాన్ వారిలో కూడా 3, లేక 4 తెగలు ఉన్నమాట వాస్తవం. అందులో ఒకరికి నచ్చినవి మరొకరికి నచ్చవు అన్నది కూడా సహజంగా ఉండేదే... కనుక, మిగిలిన సంప్రదాయాల వారిని మనం ఏదైనా విషయంలో స్పృశిస్తున్నాం అంటే వారి సంప్రదాయానుగతంగా ఉండే పద్ధతుల్ని గౌరవించడం-ఆదరించడం మనం నేర్చుకున్నప్పుడు మాత్రమే మనకు చాలా విషయాలు కూలంకషంగా చర్చించి సామరస్యంగా ముందుకు పోయే వ్యవహారం చేయగలుగుతాం. వైష్ణవంలో ఏకముఖారాధన ఉంటుంది. అంటే ఒక దేమున్ని మాత్రమే ఆరాధన చేయడం ఇలాంటివన్నమాట... ఇవి ఇలానే అర్థం అవ్వని సబ్జక్టుగా ఉంటే మన మెడకు మరింత చుట్టుకొని ఇంకా ఎక్కువమందికి ఆనందాన్ని కలిగించే అంశంగా ఉండిపోతాయనడంలో అతిశయోక్తిలేదు. - వంశీకృష్ణమాచార్యస్వామి ఋగ్వేదపండితులు.

Worship yours, respect all. Iskcon is Gaudiya and not Madhva sampradaya. And for most sampradays, the first guru is said to be Narayana, and trickeles down to their lineage. The goal is one, just the interpretations differed based on their saakshatkaaram of the lord and intellectual matrurity. What we ask is what we get as the ultimate goal - for someone Kaivalya is the goal (aatma anandam), for others saranagati is the goal (ultimate service to lord in his abode), someone's goal would be to take birth again to lead a much more luxurious life or spiritual life, etc. Nothing is wrong, but self introspect what you require and what it takes to free from karmic bondage and who is responsible to grant you that. That's the real spiritual maturity. We should stop blaming or correcting others and just put your practice to life and move on. Work on your growth.

String Vinod garu, I am your great admirer and I am also great admirer of ISKCON. The purports written by Bhakti Vendanta Swami Prabhupada are as per his realisation on transcendental path. That is very very subtle. There are other gurus who have their own realisations. We don't have any right to criticise anybody's realisation. Nature of Hinduism is that it accommodates all kinds of people sunyavadis, mayavadis, Visnu bhaktas, Devi bhaktas, Shiva bhaktas etc.. if we are judging great spiritual realised souls that's very offensive. Are you so greatly realised soul that you can correct an acarya? Are you jagadguru? Sampradayas have many acaryas and they have their own stands. You are just a social activist who has some little understanding only of vedas. So you kindly understand that you don't have basic qualification at the first place to speak on Spiritual subject matters. Even if you have some understanding you can only present it in a very humble way. Not like as if you are the most self realised person on the Earth 😅
