Shorekeeper's weapon is basically Variation on steroids, but also has some more restrictions as well. Is it worth your valuable Astrite, especially with Camellya coming up?

The thing I would note is that you call Variation more affordable, but that's not necessarily the case. I've rolled several hundred pulls now, but I still don't have a copy. I even tried fishing on a weapon banner where it rated up, but couldn't get it in a few ten pulls. Guaranteeing a 5 star costs a lot, but you can't guarantee a 4 star at all.

@@kyogre-blue idk if its mentioned in the video but the craftable Rectifier#25 has the same amount of ER as variation and could be a placeholder till you eventually snag a variation if you're not going for/cant get sig. Downside is worse effect, no concerto. If you take fallacy 10%ER into account and you can get lucky to get 34ish ER on echo substats you can hit 250 ER with 3* rectifier of voyage too. Then the rectifier25 can replace your voyager r5 on verina or baizhi or whatever you got goin on so maybe not fully wasted xp

With Shorekeeper's sig, I do actually think that Baizhi would give more overall damage buffs than Verina. The triple ice teams (Baizhi, Sanhua, Lingyang, Zhezhi) might end up with the best overall damage in the game, especially when Baizhi's S4 or S6 gives a glacio damage boost to the entire team. With SK's Sig giving the big HP self-buff as well? Her damage might actually be meaningful.

Im sick and tired of everyone saying variation is easy to get.I must be invisible or have the fcking plague cause im UL70, and I still dont have 1. I hard pitied string master(80), 160 for jinhsi, and 20 on her weapon and 40 pulls on changli and 30 for her weapon. I also did 70 pulls for zhezhi, and then you have all those standard banner pulls we would have gotten. Im tired of hearing that BS. You all are blessed, and im getting shorekeepers and her weapon. The signature weapon aim is to help meet certain stat thresholds. It provides 25% more energy regen than Variation. Shorekeeper is trying to juggle between both Energy Regen and HP. Her healing and attacks scales on HP. If you meet the energy Regen threshold early, you can run more HP% main stat for cost 3 echos. Meaning more dmg/Healing.

This is actually something I can get, as I only have Baizhi has my only sustain right now. When I started playing I got bad info on who I should pull for the free 5 star . . . so no Vorina for me. Pluss Shorekeepers supposed synergy with MC unit would be good as they are my main attacker while I am trying to build up Xiangli Yao

Very good video but here some information that he not mentioned -Wuwa weapon banners are 100% up rate, no pity bs , sometimes invest in it is way better than new characters that not compatible with your team and play style - Shorekeeper herself is a universal support which means if you use the logic of a weapon should be useable for multi character than invest more in Shorekeeper herself work out the same, she is useable in multi team - Her signature weapon is still a buff weapon for any healer support which means it always have longer lifespan in the long meta run compare to multi use dps weapon but get outdated fast in future

Imagine not having a Variation /cries in me. Great video, a lot of others were selling this as a "must pull" weapon but clearly it's little more than an ER stick for most of the roster. Been running Baizhi in XL/Yinlin team and she fits in the rotation comfortably, and while she's really only buffing Yinlin's damage, the heals seem solid and her field time is very light.

Considering PGR that the support character are very rare/rarely limited banner. If we want to wait for the next limited banner support character, it must still be a long time, maybe 1 year from now.

Getting a copy of variation is the problem. Getting a 4 star gacha weapon can sometimes be worse than pulling a 5 star. You can go to 100 pulls and not get a single copy of variation. So if you don't have variation then don't be discouraged to pull for Shorekeeper's signature as that would be better than the minuscule chance of obtaining the 4 star gacha weapon that you want. It really depends on your luck at the end of the day.

Since am not having Verina, and already got my Baizhi to 80 before getting Shorekeeper. Since there is a need of 2 healers and Buffers, I went for the weapon but just spend 20 pulls on it and got it I was lucky so. Otherwise I don’t think I would have gotten it but no regrets since my Baizhi will be still used and is good build also can just share echoes with Shorekeeper. For me a Win / win

The downside with Variation is that it's purely a gacha weapon. I have MULTIPLE signature weapons for characters but have not gotten 1 Variation yet. So theoretically, there is a chance that you, like me, could pull for some weapons on the weapon banner, and get Shorekeeper's weapon before Variation. Considering that there is no 75/25 to lose/win on the weapon banner and it's guaranteed to pull the signature weapon, theoretically, that makes Variation RARER than Shorekeeper's signature. I REALLY want to pull for Shorekeeper, but if you don't have any copies of Variation, her signature is actually very close to a "must pull" in this specific case. That, or just don't pull for Shorekeeper at all.

Getting Shorekeeper signature depends on either you want her pure support healer bot or hybrid healer subdps. - Pure support: use variation or other alternatives using 2 ER echoes - Hybrid sub: use Signature Weapon and use 2 Spectro echoes

A video that fully explain why this weapon isn't worth pulling. Imagine if they chose to change the attack buff to just using skill. It becomes the best support weapon ever created. All rectifyer user can activate the additional buff. From healer to sub dps. Many players would try to R5 this weapon for value for long term use. A weapon that is a must have on all teams. Increasing your dps potential. It would have made kuro alot of money, wonder why they choose to limit the character usage is wild.

My take is that, you can get shorekeeper weapon, and skip shorekeeper IF you have working Baizhi. Give her weapon to Baizhi, althouh Baizhi concerto regen from this is far from ideal, hopefully can make things works until one get shorekeeper.

Tbh for completely f2p, or very low spenders, its a big decision, its very good, but also not critical to have since support characters are inherently valuable because of their kit. This is a tough one... Summary Weapon Pros: - Allows fast Liberation regeneration which Shorekeeper really needs (Does not really benefit other characters/healers) - Allows a massive duration of 14% atk buff to all characters (Only applicable to Shorekeeper & Baizhi) - Potentially good for future healers that heal on skill cast - Potentially good for future characters that relies heavily on liberation cast. Weapon Cons: - Can't be used effectively by most rectifier users in the game (Encore, Verina, Yinlin, Zhezhi) - Very low basic atk stat. The biggest thing holding me back from skipping this is bcs of that 14% teamwide atk buff that lasts 30 whole seconds. I've played PGR and their limited premium weapons which debuff enemies' elemental resistance have always been must pulls even more prioritized than dps weapons as it adds more to the teams damage. While Stellar Symphony isn't debuffing enemies like in PGR, it is still the only weapon that provides teamwide buffs and that has very high potential going into future healers in this game. If Kuro makes just one more limited premium sustain character that 1) heals on skill cast and 2) is a rectifier user, this weapon immediately becomes a must pull. Problem is we don't know if that will ever happen especially anytime soon.

as a joke to myself i did a 10 pull and got her sig. original goal was to get more corals for pulls tho i still plan on whaling on camellya banner now my SK has 260%+ ERR which is more than the recommended ERR 250%

logged in today only to pull for her and her weapon and I must say, I got fortunate cause I pulled them both in my first 10 pulls, It's sad that I got every 5 star till now except Changli (I rlly wanted her but I used all of my Astrites for Jinhsi's weapon) and Zhezhi (I didn't want her so I didn't pull her), I'm F2P btw

I'll be honest i looked at it, saw that the only thing it gives that other options don't give is 14% atk and thought "hmm do i want to spend almost 80 hard earned pulls for 14% atk" the choice was really hard, i mean think of how much more damage i could be doing with 14 whole percent of atk, i mean it's 14 WHOLE percent.

my take away is, its not currently worth it or useful outside of shorekeeper/bazhi or if you like drip for SK. However, i do think given the communities outcry of more support units i would not be surprised if we get one or two more that will hopefully be hp scaling also in the future. even if they come out with better sig weapons for those who have this one now it could be a decent alternative in the future. Thoughts?

i personally just want healers that aren't catalyst....it is pretty boring that SK is just another female, spectro, catalyst healer....like there is not one thing different from verina, and just the element is different to baizhi (which doesn't even matter anyway).

Been playing since launch and I have just 1 Variation which Verina is already using. So I'll have to pull on SK's weapon banner.

Im gonna pull for it since I plan on using her for a long time plus it'll always be useful on future healers 4* or 5* if they work with the passives and this is coming from someone who luckily got r5 variations back on jiyans banner in 1.0. Plus ill be real im skipping the next 3 banners after her so i'll have time to save (love camellya but I need scar)

@@QMS9224 the 14% atk buff is I believe has been calculated on multiple different teams and is calc'd to be on average a 6-7% increase in overall rotation dmg. So yes, agreed. If you don't NEED it to bridge the gap to 250% ER then chances are the hp% buff and the 14% atk are not enough of a reason to pull for most

I happened to get this weapon and i foolishly used another single pull on it without thinking and immediately got a second one. I'm torn whether to keep the extra copy or not 😮

So one thing to note is that for Shorekeeper, energy regen is not just about getting her ult up as often as possible. Spoiler below. . . . . . . The amount of crit damage and crit rate she gives your team scales off of your energy regen on her. You need at least 250% energy regen to get the max crit rate and damage.

@@Richtofen_- I never said you needed the weapon for that. I have 250% ER on Verina with two ER main stat echos and Variation. I was just saying ER is important on Shorekeeper for more than just getting her ult as quickly as possible. But if you want to maximize Shorekeeper's healing you may want to dump one or both ER stat echoes for HP% ones. So her weapon would be a massive help in that scenario. But yeah her weapon is more for the whales like Zhezhi's weapon.
