I don't care what anyone says about McDavid and Ovi, yes they are great hockey players, but THE best ALL AROUND hockey player in the league is Sid hands down. 3 Stanley cups, multiple individual awards and team Canada medals 🏅 I'm not even a pens fan but I've watched hockey long enough to know I would rather have a guy on my team that is great on both sides of the puck and that can take depth guys, put them on his wings and make superstars outta them. He makes everyone around him better. Great leader. Ya scoring 50 goals and over 100 points every year is nice, but I don't consider that ALL AROUND good.

Nah mcdavid is better, ovi is not considered all around, he's known as the greatest and most dominant pure goal scorer and will beat gretzkys record (not a caps fan). Mcdavid is legit destroying records left and right and doing stuff Crosby 8n his prime wouldn't have done, and he's doing it on a team that wouldn't be good without him, though leon is also a massive part of that team. Crosby had great rosters and is one of the greatest players in nhl history and nothing against him but mcdavid is putting up numbers Crosby couldn't and can't hit. Crosby has more cups but that doesn't measure anything important on comparing mcdavid who carries his team and his team is absolutely God awful on the blue line, Crosby has had more success due to having a more solid team around him than mcdavid has ever had and mcdavid is early in his career, he could easily get 3 cups (which is a team effort) so comparing cups is a poor comparison on almost every level and no im not an Edmonton fan at all either . Ovi is a better goal scorer than Crosby, but Crosby is a lot more complete than ovi in every other facet! Mcdavid is better than Crosby all around, he's probably the most complete player the nhl has seen, which is big considering how Crosby did the same his entire career until mcdavid came into the league. Thats not downing Crosby its just a fact that even with extreme bias is foolish
