I've been doing a LOT of math with smolder, and the most damage build you can get is Trinity - Shojin - Muramana, crit buffs are bait or for late game After those 3 items you could do LDR - BT, Shieldbow does more damage than BT but i think Shieldbow is just a bad item and the lifesteal is just better. For boots i like swiftnes, because with shojin you have a 2.08 CD Q, with cdr boots its like 1,89, its not too much and swiftness boots are so strong with smolder because of your E and you can kite a lot with your Q. Rapid fire cannon is great but it lacks of damage, i would buy it only if the enemies are all ranged and poke a lot. Otherwise your 550 range is way enough to play against most enemy comps. With Trinity - Shojin - Muramana - LDR - BT/Shieldbow you would be doing like 600 to 800 per Q to almost everyone, without counting your magic and true damage. And in my opinion, now your gold is way more important than your passive, now your execute is just a 1.5% better collector, i mean you need to get both gold and passive but smolder is not exodia anymore, that just hit 225 staks and its over, you really really really need at least 2 or 3 items to do something.

Did some target dummy testing (300/200/100/0 resistance, 6.5k/4.5k/2.5k/1k health) and the best full build was pretty close to this. Trinity - Shojin - Muramana/ER - LDR - BorK/BT/Shieldbow with Berserkers/Zephyr came out on top over Lucidity when mixing AAs with Qs and Ws. ER + BorK was the best vs tanks while the others had more edge vs squishies and gave more survivability. BorK was also the only way to get over 1k physical damage to Qs

@@HekseriEMP Yeah i've notices all that, BUT you have to be careful testing full bulds on dummys, un like 90% of your games you wont be full build and you have to test the build path through the game, what are your powerspikes, when is strong, when is weak, and on those 90% of your games you will be fighting and finishing the game only on 3 or max 4 items, around minute 24-26. And yeah bork is good but with enemies around 3k health, below that BT is just better, it gives more AD more lifesteal and the shield.

Did you test the liandry's damage amp and burn? I'm curious how it stacks up against the full ad build. Also did you do and jack of all trades testing?

@@kurikiarizeth2990 No i didnt, but Liandry could be great if your team is full ad. I'd replace BT for Liandry if i need it. But it would be only for the burn, AP ratios on smolder are really bad after all the nerfs so the riftmaker-liandry build is pretty bad. And no i didn't test anything with jack of al trades, i think its a bit bad rune and Cosmic Insight is awesome, a 4 minute cd flash instead of 5 minutes is so OP.

0:53 if you said "look at me im feeble" it's like being weak like old people are feeble. one tumble and they can get hurt, if they trip it could be bad, if they get sick it could be dangerous, etc smolder is a baby dragon so he's "feeble". pretty much him saying "im an immobile adc and i need peel to scale"

Lol, I only play smolder mid and I have many good games. I just discovered a new smolder build too. Maximum burst and true damage smolder. Shreds tanks. Essence reaver, LDR, Ghostblade into more lethality items. Burst squishies and shred tanks.

This whole entire Crit/ADC item rework has me scratching my head. Cool, Jhin/Caitlyn/Jinx and whoever benefited really hard. The champs that had old Navori as their core item are all shoehorned into building IE now. Yay...? Because that's clearly so "fun"? And if you play Gangplank or Smolder, you might as well just give up cause they changed both ER and Navori and now you're expected to build Triforce, which is a Fighter item.

Old navori users just go ie flickerblade now, its really no diff. I agree er not being a sheen item anymore is awkward, but rest of changes are definitely very good

ER was the dumbest fucking change, but navori i agree with. you almost always needed an attack speed item with it to make it worth it, and making it an attack speed item to compete with runaans pd and rfc is a really smart choice IMO it sucks for champs like gp, but i guess he was never supposed to build it anyways
