Watched this with my dad when it came out, its an amazing watch and more people need to talk about it!

Just a heads up, while people in the west definitely don't talk about this series a lot, the source material (Which is a Light Novel btw) was actually very popular in Japan. I find that the west has more casual anime enjoyers who don't really watch anything unless it has a dub, is an action shounen, trends on twitter or some combination of the three. As a result, a lot of genuinely good anime gets overlooked by the west because it isn't considered "mainstream" even if it's popular in Japan (though still not mainstream). Somali is the type of anime that has it's fans, but no actual fandom to form a community around. as a result, it flies under the radar. Being a 1 shot anime with no further seasons and no plans for further seasons doesn't help with that either.
