It's one of those things where it's just subtle enough that you see it out of the corner of your eye and question what you saw. I absolutely SHAT myself when I noticed it on my playthrough.

I was screaming in my head “he’s going up the stairs!!! He’s going up the stairs!!” The first time you played through!! This game was extra creepy because it seemed similar what would happen in a real life situation…trying to figure out what to do if somebody was in your house while you were alone 😨😨😨

Thank you soooo much for playing a second time, I'd seen this game play before and so wanted you to experience all the spooks. Also when you go downstairs and see him at the front door, open the door...just in case you wanna check it out one more time. :)

Ooh this game was good! Real stories are the most chilling. Also, 26:46 - *flashback of the centipede incident from Hollow Knight* The creepy-crawlies want cameos in your vids, I think, haha XD

In case it's not obvious, kid stayed home alone, got up after a nap, went into his parents' bedroom and, after hearing the neighbour's dog bark, he looked out of the window and saw a figure standing in the driveway, after which the figure walked off. You missed that. Then he went downstairs, ate some lasagna while watching the TV. When you're sitting on the sofa eating lasanga, you can see the guy creep upstairs, which you saw only in your next playthrough. That's when the backdoor gets opened and you can close it. Kid went to do his homework, then went to bed. Paula is the neighbour and she's the one who saw the man creep outside, sent your mother a photo, your mother messaged you, then Paula turned all the lights on in her house (across the street) and called the cops. While the kid's hiding, the dude broke the window of the parents' bedroom and walked in, so if you tried going downstairs, he'd get you. Paula really was at the door ringing the bell. You could have actually walked downstairs and opened the door for her after the police had come.

didn't expect the mini jumpscare lol what a very cool very interesting very creepy game, i hated the sounds/noises.. good stuff 😂 i keep forgetting about Ichio, a lot of hidden horror gems there for sure!! (but mom said "you kids" where was the other kid? lol) in the beginning how they have the "if you have stories to share send to @ email" i have seen some INCREDIBLE spooky stories on the subreddit, "r/nosleep" so i wonder if theres a connection between that or similar subreddit and the developer since reddit is mentioned in the game text. haha "do you hear her?" "it's paula at the door" "mom's so sorry honey" "everythings going to be alright" um mom? sorry for what???? lol PS NEVER MESS WITH A SPIDER OVER YOUR HEAD lol just name him and tell it if he coo you're coo lol

The character had asked permission for some friends to come over. They ended up not being able to come over, but that wasn't told to the mom, so she was assuming their friends were with them. And I'm sure the mom apologizing is just like "I'm so sorry this is happening and that I'm not there with you"
