Single chip, single ish light source laser through a spinning phosphorus color wheel...? What is the warranty on that light wheel? At the recent show not many influences were talking about Sony...thought that was interesting...but now there are 2 videos so far that I found...

The fact that they didn’t update the 5000 to at least include the better HDMI spec is a huge lose. Frankly the fact that it wasn’t included on the 5000 6000 and 7000 to begin with was fucking baffling.

Not really, these are home theatre specific projectors. HDMI 2.1 is only needed for playing games at higher refresh rates. 2.0 is more than enough

@@MrAtoulmin you think games dont want to use these projectors? I game on my xw 5000es all the time and it kills me that its not hdmi 2.1 when that as been the standard for even cheap tvs for a while now. Its why I am currently shopping for a 83" oled... I am basically done with projectors
