Not sure if I agree with 5Ds being in speed duels. Don't get me wrong, I love 5Ds and synchro summoning is my second favorite extra deck mechanic. But 5Ds would be way too big of a game changer for speed duels that would kinda ruin the whole point of the format. Adding synchro summoning will make speed duels a lot more combo focused and more simular to normal yu gi oh, exactly the opposite of what most speed duel players want. Although, I will say that I'd be very happy if they find a way of adding 5Ds to speed duel without synchro summoning, such as by making fusion, ritual, or regular variants of the ace monsters. That'd be a realy smart way to add 5Ds and all subsequent yugioh animes to speed duels while keeping speed duels as the main deck centric back and forth game that is more aligned to classic yugioh that makes it such an acessible format. But that unfortunately feels like a pipe dream to be honest.

@@Darrakkii I mean. A lot of people want to collect reprints. Good ones of course. I've found Speed Duels to be a amazing way to introduce younger audiences to yugioh without overwhelming them with the complexity of modern yugioh, as well as a great to reintroduce yugiboomers to the game. Speed Duels is an amazing starting point to teach the game and I feel people don't give it enough credit for that. Introducing 5ds could be very interesting and I do like the idea of synchros, but adding it will have a ton of unintended consequences. 1. Sets about DM and GX will be much harder to introduce now that the game revolves around synchros. A big issue given that these characters are a big part of the reason why Speed Duels are such a great way to bring people back into the game. 2. Synchro summoning might seem intuitive on the surface since we're all used to it. But the big thing that makes it tough for begginners is that Synchros come from the extra deck. A zone that they're not used to think about because other games don't have it. Fusion summoning gets around it because it requires the user to have a spell card that says you can fusion summon, so the new player will immediately ask what a fusion summon is as soon as they draw it. Synchros don't have that benefit since they require tuners, which is a little word hidden on what's otherwise an ordinary monster card. They probably won't ask any questions so now you have to be proactive when teaching about synchros. Which is an issue because the begginner will either forget about it or hyperfocus on it. Neither of which are good results when trying to convince yugioh is a fun game worth their time 3. Synchros will create a lot of powercreep since they're incredibly splashable and powerfull. Eventualy making the optimal strategy to be a combo deck that is centered around summoning from the extra deck, which is litteraly just modern yugioh but slightly simpler.

Speed duel sits around my house for when I just want a chill time with friends and not get too sweaty in a full on match. The secrets in here are honestly some of the best I’ve seen in my small time being a collector and the tramp stamp isn’t so bad imo

I collect "master sets" of all the Speed Duel secret rares, these few pages look insane in my binder Would you be able to do a video of opening a few boxes and putting together the whole set? Not gonna lie, I really want that secret creature swap for my goat format deck. Also widespread ruin was played in goat as an extra sakuretsu armor. In come cases it's even better than sakuretsu being that it doesn't target and destroys the highest attack monster rather than the monster that attacks

I doubt these will hurt the value of the bpt promos too much and with them having the speed duel stamp and the new layout as well as the holo stars+attribute. The 2002 promos might take a bit of a hit when this is released but Id bet their value will go back up after a little bit. I don't see the new speed duel promos being very valuable even in the future either.

The only problem with these SpeedDuel promo packs is that they are loose in the box. I've encountered a few with damaged corners. It's inevitable because they get shaken alot while shipping.

I can see why you understood it like this having rewatched that part, but what I meant was that the "secret rare" version of the artwork aka this version, not BPT. They are “speed duel” cards which are a diff format. I wouldn’t consider them cards to use in regular decks imo

You can’t use regular cards in speed duel format however… but yeah, maybe it’s an OCD thing, but I cringe whenever I see someone using speed duel cards in master format.

You can Play Speed Duels with randoms, everyone can easily get into IT in ~15 min 8. Exclusive cards that never been Out in the tcg 9. You can use those cards in the normal tcg 10. Way better printings, the cards are way nicer then the Standard tcg cards
