I would like to see the use of the Spiky Ball at different town hall levels and with the equipment at different levels. For instance, A TH12 player using the spiky ball equipment at levels 9 or 10 to gauge if it is worth it to get it to that level temporarily or if it would be better to max first before using(for your TH level(blacksmith level technically)). Easy to say that the spiky ball is good when it goes your way. Look at 6:26 the ball bounced from wiz tower to spell tower, but if it bounced to ricochet cannon (which also 2 tiles away from the wiz tower), the ball would be just wasted to outside trash building. The king would die and queen would have so much trouble to kill the TH. To me, it's barely a nice equipment to have if you are a dirty gemer and already maxed out other epic equipment. But for other F2P players, we still have so many equipment to be done and this spiky ball should not be in priority imo. It solves problems that either we already have the solutions or the ones that are rarely happens.

F2P player here who missed on the Cookie Kingdom event and hasn't been able to gain the Giant Gauntlet, I've been using my BK with the Spiky Ball and Earthquake boots and it has helped me pretty well with my attacks so that other ground troops gain more space to reach the enemy towers and destroy both defenses and other buildings

Rage's worst deterrents are Tornado and enemy Poison(s), cant count how many times I wasted half of the Rage's duration because of those, throwing the ball in a Hail Mary is better in that situation.

The gauntlet with the rage is good and root Rider spam because the king gets so much additional health to tank. For me that is key to keeping everyone else alive versus the sacrificial king with good damage. Will be interested to see how this plays out with the pros. It could be Bass determinate.

Honestly doesn’t even matter to me what equipment my king has. I use warden fireball walk with root rider valks and 3 star 90% of attacks with my king with full health and no ability used. I guess spiky ball is the best option in this scenario but I’m not sure I would want to go for it since my king isn’t needed as is. Probably will wait for the rocket spear

Unless you have every good combo for your heroes maxed or decentlyleveled up, i do not recommend getting the spikey ball. The ball will not perform everytime. Its random. Where as equipments like GG, Rage vial, haste vial, frost arrow etc. you know they are gonna help either way.

I would say that the vampstache + spiky ball combination could be considered too, as the base stats increase of the SB synergizes very well with the VS life steal. This would only work if the king is sent to the outside of the base tho

My mind is clear ..few days back maxed the giant gauntlet. Now its time to max frozen arrow.. As a F2P we can't adjust the army according to the equipment coz equipment is low level. No matter what F2p players must adjust to something so i would rather prefer upgrading some equipment to max

@@op-xr7ge You can save up gems to buy the frozen arrow from the trader. It costs 1500 gems. For the boots, you can buy ores. to upgrade your existing equipment like the eternal tome, invisibility vial or the rage vial.

@@op-xr7ge Unfortunately, you can only buy the spiky ball with boots (since it is an event-specific resource). If you missed previous events, you'll have to spend gems to get them.

Probably frozen arrow, not because the Spiky Ball isn’t good but frozen arrow is very strong.

It’s a tough one, the equipment is strong but the gained benefit from using it instead of the rage vial is lower than other upgrades you can do.

It’s not a necessity like the gauntlet is, but I think it can do things similar to what you saw in TK’s attacks today so it’s always worth having.

For the average player it will take about a month before the spiky ball will even be of use. I was lucky enough to be fully maxed 15 before equipment dropped so I got the base equipments at level 15 to start... still have a long way to go and have no epic equipment maxed yet and I play daily for reference. If you aren't spending a ton of $, you will only have a portion of that power

Supercell will wait and when the time is right and many people have invested a year or so into equipment... then they will start doing slight nerfs. Remember they said town hall 16 was basically an experiment. Next town hall usually drops around a year to a year and a half after. Take all this into context and you have all the answers you need. Thats my 2 cents anyways

I've got a counter point hooked, i love the speed increase that rage vial provides is awesome. In sui attacks i like to get a particular comp to be cleared by him, spikey ball can be really good to damage some internal defences ( like a sweeper) but then king might struggle to clear that comp which i want him to considering I don't have pheonix. Like in the first case, i would rather want that mono to go down than some extra damage on Xbox or other defences. but I'll buy it anyways, better not to spend gems later on😅😅

One thing that was made so clear is that the phoenix adds no value at all. I've never understood the appeal. Try the same test with other pets.

Interesting. Phoenix allows you to save your king ability for the perfect time. With other equipment you have to pop BK earlier/micromanage him because if a single wrecks him you miss the 15-17s insane ability of the gauntlet.

@BlueprintCoC I use recall super bowler and always use king in the core So if you want your king in the middle of base the rage is better ? One thing hold me back to upgrade this equipment is lvl 27 look very op but lower lvl is not that good and can't 1 shot spell tower

I prefer to say that spiky ball + barbarian puppets and spiky ball + rage is better than spikyball + gauntlet because the king would the king would become slow after the spikyball released and it will not take much more buildings

The worst thing about it that You cannot predict which target it will hit (excluding very pro players) And with the other equipments we can plan the attack and get the desired building down But if the ball fails, the whole attack may get ruined 😅 I would recommend it with overgrowth spell

The number of people commenting Fox on BK is surprising. The Fox should always be on the Royal Champion no matter the army. It’s a perfect combination. Phoenix on BK isn’t a guarantee with armies such as RR spam I’ll admit. I think it’s still best because it allows you to use your gauntlet ability in a wider range of times, whereas without Phoenix you have to pop him earlier or you risk losing the whole ability.

We have proved most of these pet combinations months ago when the new troops/pets came out. Also for a good experiment you can only change 1 variable at a time, in this video that’s the hero equipment (the new item in the game).
