why squid game season 2 is overhyped ?

I feel like the way Season 2 ended was the only way it could happen while still leaving the Squid Game aspects in the series for Season 3. Because now, we will get to see the final 3 games from that Squid Game with mostly the same cast. If they wanted the Season to end on better terms they would have had to end Squid Game, leaving Season 3 without any of that. It would just be fully gun wars between Gi-hun, the rest of the players and his team versus the frontman and his guards. That would have made it less interesting. So, I think ending the Season the way they did was the best decision they could make
