When your world is flipped. Does this mean Miquella had a Consort? Was St. Trina, Miquella's "better half"

Yes. Someone figured this out back when the game came out but I can’t remember who (it wasn’t me). Don’t even remember how they did it but they figured St. Trina was Miquella and that Miquella’s power was compelling affection/devotion. I only remember it because that’s when I was consuming Elden Ring content last and happened upon it. Might have been someone big like Vaati but I just don’t remember.

Well St Trina is located in the same place Miquella discarded their love and could it have been Zullie the Witches "big hints for the dlc" video?
@BloodyInitiate19 күн бұрын
@@riotguards just re-watched that video. I’ve definitely watched it before but it isn’t the source of my memory. I appreciate the effort of suggesting it though. I feel bad having referenced something I can’t remember but I’ve consumed me a lot of Elden Ring content! I often listen to KZbin more than watch it, so that makes my sorting of the sources even worse.

@@BloodyInitiate yeah, it does sound like a cool theory, its been awhile since i lasted checked the lore

I personally heard this theory from VaatiVidya. Tho it is the only channel I watch for the elden ring lore so he might not be behind the theory himself, that I can't say for sure.

st, trina is the posion from a outer god in his body that kept him from growing, miquella discarded his body freeing him, st trina tricks us into killing him saying godhood would be a worse prison and hes better off dead. the greater will would also like him dead thus grace leads us to him, for you are the unwanted offspring of queen marika, only you can see grace, only you can use great runes like the other demi-gods, you are the only demi-god the greater will wants as its elden lord

Wdym st trina is his love it says so on the cross right outside the boss, why would a spirit be lamenting that st trina was discarded if it was his curse

@mchammering2818 So, OP is half correct. St. Trina is infact Miquella'a curse personified, but Miquella came to love Trina, as we've seen a theme of Marika's cursed children accepting their curses in one way or another. Trina became Miquella's sense of Love out of this acceptance and came to love Miquella as her other half, because Trina loves all things. Sleep is eternal love in the context of Trina's poison, eternal sleep being an alternative to Destined Death in a land without it to her worshippers. I would say the theory of the Tarnished being Marika's last demigod child is MAYBE accurate, but we don't know enough about the nature of the Tarnished to say for sure. Additionally, I wouldn't say Trina tricks us, I'd say her love meant she knew Miquella would be miserable as a god. Moving from one prison to the next from her own curse to godhood, he'd waste the chance he was giving himself stripping his empryan flesh to begin with while also poisoning the mind of [FINAL BOSS] to a point of no longer respecting them under why they were asked to be miquella's consort. Basically Trina is saying Miquella would never be able to forgive himself for this corruption of self and of his trusted consort and friend, and that if there is no other alternative, giving them both the release of death is all we can do. I would also say not only the Greater Will but whatever is left of Marika herself outside of Radagon wants the Tarnished as Elden Lord, yes. Why else do we receive such guidance, even so little in the shadow lands? The Will wants us to be the only one to ascend, and if we are a demigod, that would make sense as to why, giving credence to OP's theory.

We aren't the only tarnished to see grace. Just one of a very few. Other tarnished were able to see grace before it faded from their eyes. We were just the most recent tarnished to have gotten to the lands between. Grace fades overtime, according to other tarnished. And in that sense it's similar mechanically to hollowing, as tarnished who aren't able to see grace likely were unable to fulfill their duty for whatever reason. Vyke was the closest tarnished to becoming elden lord until he went mad. And if the erdtree hadn't been sealed, Morgott would've been the rightful ruler of the lands between.
