Great Vid Jay. I stayed for 4 comp nights in August. It was perfectly satisfactory. My room was clean & the bathroom has been recently refreshed with new tile. The air conditioner worked amazing! Which is the most important thing I care about during Vegas summer trips. No, it's not near as nice as Park MGM or Aria, but also not near as bad as some "influencers" want you to believe.

I love The Bur! The Lounge from Thursday to Sunday does karaoke. Now, if you’re into video poker and free drinks, this is the place to be. The new Center Bar is awesome. All bartenders are absolutely amazing. I’m Pearl status and I also get Excalibur and Luxor comped all year, no resort fees. I’ve stayed at Luxor too, and I’ll forever choose Excalibur over the pyramid. If you spend enough time at the video poker machines at the bars, MGM will calculate the time spent gambling and send you offers accordingly. NYNY is also right next door, good place to drink and gamble. Good video Jay !

I just stayed at the Excalibur - Royal Tower in July; Resort Tower in August which was an upgrade from my original reservation. Both rooms were nice. Friendly staff. They have a nice restaurant selection there but EVERYTHING is expensive. TAP Sports Bar was my favorite! Again, expensive but more than enough food and everything tasted great!

Chang"s on there bedspread It covers! the cost of maintenance & repairs. It includes the cost of cable television & the use of water None of which is free. If you're charged more than the set cost of $54 for a resort fee, get an MGM rewards card the fee will be waived parking is free, there's a $50 restaurant voucher and a room can be upgraded ( when or if) it's available at no charge You can use an app. on your phone to check in Speak with a bellman to enter the room, there should be a key on the dresser Pack a single coffee maker

As MGM Pearl, they comp’ed hotel fee & waive resort fee if I stay at Excalibur. Good budget friendly place. A few days is not bad! Rooms are dated but clean, near everything on the strip! Falls under zone 1 cab cost which increases to zone 2 if u stay across at NYMY or MGM! Buffet good for inexpensive breakfast. Like their latte machine!

Thanks for the review. Love staying in a nice, fancy hotel but I don't need to stay in a fancy hotel. All I need is a clean room with a working TV, working plumbing and a secure lock on the door. Oh, and a mini fridge. As long as that is available at a good price, preferably free with no resort fee, that's all we need. Man, inflation hit the ABC Store. Instead of $2 now $2.75. Still a good price but dang.

The last two years we've stayed there in a 2 bedroom suite overlooking the pool area. Very reasonable rate for a 5 night stay. We really enjoyed our stay both times and found nothing wrong with the rooms or resort. It's in a convenient location as we like playing at the Excalibur,NY NY and Mandalay Bay. Would not hesitate to stay there again.

It’s funny that if you gamble at all they will comp your room any night. The place pays for itself with the gambling alone. I think it’s charming and cute if you have kids. Personally I find it a bit too smoky and don’t think they have any good food options that an adult would really enjoy. Usually I’ll walk through it on my way from NYNY to Luxor but that’s about it.

@@totalnightlife Resort fee so like $50 a night. I generally have budget of about $1,000 when I visit to gamble. But I play a lot of video poker and never lose more than half of my budget before I get mad and stop, hehe. And a few times I’ve won hand pays, but then you have to pay taxes. But it all washes out for me when I figure in the entertainment value. You need to sign up for a players card and use it when you gamble or buy anything on property like meals.

I think for a value hotel it is a great option, especially for a first timer to Vegas or you just want a cheap place on the strip, great location. I think from the outside at night lit up the castle is beautiful.

The Centre bar was being built when we were there last October l like TAP but it wasn’t open the two days we were there When did you stay as I have seen some videos that moving walkway isn’t in operation and they put up a wall where the doors are.Liked and subscribed looking forward to seeing some more Jaycation

I stayed @ The Excalibur in July of 22' for my birthday. I was with two of my sons & one of my son's girlfriend. I paid $32 a night(no resort fees)... (Booked directly through their website) I loved it. The outdoor pool was one of my favorite things. Would definitely stay there again. (The $32 a night rooms went up to $178 a night on the weekend)...

I like Taps, nothing exceptional but decent. A couple of years ago, we went to the Tournament of Kings. It was fun in a corny way. Not gourmet food but a good value for entertainment and a meal. Kids would love it. The number of cast members, horses and special effects were pretty impressive.

Stayed at the Excalibur for the last year's final Pac 12 championship game at the Allegiant. I highly recommend Excalibur if you are looking for a budget hotel/casino near the Allegiant stadium for a game or a show there. Super close and easy to get to, and NY/NY is right across the street for food and entertainment, and two of my favorite places in Vegas are in NY/NY... the dueling piano bar and the nine fine irishmen. At the Excalibur though, I made a mistake of eating at the Buca di Beppo. Food was subpar and expansive, which was dispappointing because one back home is good. And the buffet in Excalibur is great because it's not the best but it has variety of options for around $30 bucks including a continental breakfast style dishes, so it's great for late breakfast or a lunch. For future events near Allegiant, I will stay at the Excalibur.

Wow 😦 The rooms have changed for sure! I stayed there when it pretty much opened, and the rooms had brick-like wallpaper inside, to give it a 🏰castle-like room. The wallpaper / headboard had a huge royal look too. Not seeing that is sort of a shame. I’m surprised at so much of DARKNESS in the hallways and closet too. The original details that are still there, like by the shops, and check-in area ishow the ENTIRE hotel was like before. My last visit there, for a thunder from down under ( I give that a 9 out of 10 😊) about 5 years ago, I noticed how much the hotel changed, and aged from before. Although I would give it a 10/10 for all of the places to shop and see there.

Just stayed last weekend, booked a last second room and it was my only comp room available…the first night we stayed in what was in my opinion the nastiest room in Vegas. There was mold everywhere in the bathroom and the smell of the room was unbearable but we checked in just before midnight and they said it was booked out when I asked (before even seeing the room) Next day I asked if I was able to get another room and it was night and day difference but if this is my only Comp next trip I’ll either not go or just pay at a nicer hotel.

Stayed there back in the 90s with my cousins just after is was built but don't remember much. I do remember the casino and the moving walkway along with going to Luxor on the connected walkway. I liked it but back then it was all new and we had a good time. I left my phone in this tour bus we took up the Strip and had to run across to NYNY to catch it and get my phone back. Probably a Nokia. haha

To save money on buying bottle water which you should try is something that I do when I go on vacation. I get a gallon of water from either Walgreens, CVS, or Walmart or something like that and then, I get a smaller bottle that will fit into the Mini fridge, so that I can put it in there and then I take the gallon and put it inside a plastic bag and then fill it with ice so that I have cold water and it saves you at least 50% on buying bottle water while you're there.

We just stayed here a week ago and left the day before they demolished the Tropicana. It was a very pleasant surprise. Due to our kids we normally stay at the Circus Circus and hands down Excalibur is our hotel to stay at in Vegas the next time we are there. not Luxurious but if we needed Luxury we would just do a staycation here at home in Hawaii. 3 minor issues we had was that the self parking was closed near our tower due to the demolition of the Tropicana, only 1 bellmen was on shift when we checked out and we had a lot of luggage so multiple trips to our room needed to be made, and I thought Hawaii was pricy but for 3 bottled drinks and a small bag of chips cost me $30 at their stores YIKES!!! Anyway great location and great overall hotel for us.
