Usually I pair Crossbow with HV ammo Nagant M1895 ( This is my Budget Loadout for fresh hunters😆) or you can pair it with mosin obrez for the long range capability ( you need quartermaster though )

Im a shotbolt enjoyer bc all I do is armshot leg shot and that just tilt me, btw do the seel bolts keep the damage better at distance or it drops the same?

Lol😆 I feel you mate... as for the damage drop-off I don't know myself, but what I do know, is that it took more than 3 shots to kill enemy appox. 100m away🥲

So according to my testing: Regular crossbow bolts do 150 to the chest up to 35meters. At 36meters its 146 damage, wich is still one shot due to the bleed. Steel bolts do 150 up to 27 meters, at 28 they do 148 Damage. Steel bolts are garbage unless you try to get long range headshots.

@@FuhonTusjo Dang... it's that bad huh😆 I think Crytek wants to try new things, which is great, but this one is just not it😢 It is meant to do Headshot, but it feels impossible with its snail-like muzzle velocity 😭

@@Yrdal Also every other gun in this game is better for headshots. Just use officer silenced xD. Id rather had steelbolds that never one shot but instead do consistent 130 damage up to 60 meters with a bleed. You could actually work with that. Basically making it a silent springfield with bleed ammo

So last fight.. looks like you're using cheats. I watched it in 0,25 and you always aiming perfectly on the head. Just didn't hit because poison bullets actually cant penetrate anything. Looks very suspicious.
