@@lunallena5594 Yes it's true, but in season 4 when Steve and Brenda were in conflict about Laura, who was Steve's girlfriend and who had not gotten the leading role, there was a rage between Steve and Brenda which could have transformed into real romantic passion after Laura's departure.

I completely agree with you, towards the end of season 4 Steve and Brenda had hated each other during an episode, this could have turned into real romantic passion, but unfortunately according to the writers Steve always had to be the role of the always loser and weak boy unlike characters like Dylan and Brandon, and Brenda absolutely had to look up to Dylan.
