Where can we find reliable and up-to-date studies and information about our teeth, what can and could keep them healthy as well as other literature? Awesome little series, I'd love to see a single video on this topic, exploring the bigger picture and such :)

This series should be one of the top series for general viewers. It's helpful to anyone who'd like to keep their natural teeth.

You say sugar is unavoidable. What about in a ketogenic/carb-free diet?
@mentaldental Жыл бұрын
Even a ketogenic diet typically has 5-10% carbohydrates in it. A truly 100% “carb-free” diet is extremely difficult to pull off, but technically, yes then you would not have cavities because the bacteria would have no food supply.

@@mentaldentalinteresting. I really appreciate your videos. I found them while trying to understand the effects of citric acid on teeth. It’s prevalent in every diet/sugar free beverage. I really liked your advise for limiting “exposures”. It’s convinced me to remove snacks from my work area and strive to limit non-water intake to just meals.

So how often one can eat sucrose filled desserts and not get cavities? Assuming that person's oral hygene routine is on point?
