I think I have way more respect for anyone who wears Moto-cab slides or Christos just to feel more relaxed, to not wear socks, to just chill in the hot weather or simply for its design compared to someone wearing actual designer sliders from the typical mainstream luxury brands that create such a tasteless and heavy consumer based design to flex the brand when they’re really into the consumerism/materialism aspect to flex rather than actually caring about the items design, history and significance. I think something that always holds you back is wearing something because you know it’s currently a trend, at the end of the day people who watch this channel and that are genuinely into fashion take often a poetic approach to clothes and their meaning, so just wear what you want to wear if you’re wearing it because it means something to you, if you’re into the style and/or have a philosophical or poetic meaning behind the item.

Yeah I totally agree, I personally dont like how suicokes look or feel on so I wear birkenstocks Arizona when it comes to "sandals" the quality, price and style make them perfect choice for me personally despite them not being considered "stylish" also they last a long time unlike some badly made branded footwear

Extending your bedroom to the outside world is a perfect analogy for comfort in fashion; it's very relatable. There's a lot to appreciate in wearing something uncomfortable or difficult for the sake of looking good but for most people, in the day to day where are more important things than being fashionable constantly, comfort should be imperative. One of the reasons I like techwear so much is because (certain brands) focus a lot on comfort and celebrate it, looking good and being dressed for a lazy day shouldn't be mutually exclusive!

The texture and scarring on the leather of the ipad case is so amazing! The best part about suicoke now is that they have less hype behind them lol. Visvim Christo's are some all time grails but suicoke definitely does a great job as a affordable substitution for christos. Have you seen the Most recent release of Visvim christos? with suede tassles? I feel like you'd really appreciate those. Love the video as always, man. I just got a pair earlier this year as well, the RON-MWPAB-MID in black and they're honestly one of my favourite pairs of footwear, especially during COVID times. I don't like wearing socks at home and I don't like putting on socks just to go run errands so they have become my go-to for anything from groceries, to going to the coffee shop or bakery. They're waterproof and shearling-lined and so they're perfect for wearing even in the Swedish winter. I'm thinking of getting some sandals for the summer as well and I love just being able to slip into them easily.

I purchased a pair of KAW-VS suede slides last year and they work for what I bought them for. Simply a casual sunday sandal. Have yet to see another pair of Suicokes in my city so I get asked about them almost every time I wear them out. As for the fashion community or ‘people in the know’, I’d say they aren’t exactly “cool” anymore but still cover the market of an affordable luxury sandal especially compared to the higher priced Christo.

It's been a while since I last watched your video! Hope things are well. I've been messing around with Suicoke sandals for some time now, but what most people aren't aware of is that they go for almost half the international price on Rakuten. Downside is they shut the global platform and now you'll have to navigate your way around in Japanese. You should look into engaging a proxy service -- Suicoke is not worth getting unless you're paying Japanese retail, especially since they're manufactured in China. I've had my eye on a classic pair of Christos for some time now..but I can't justify paying so much for something made in China also. If 'grail' status is something you're particular about, I'd go with the Christos no question. It just depends on how much disposable income you have lying around. Take care! P.S. You can also look into the Birkenstock 'Zurich' model too, it's a pretty popular style among Japanese people from what I've observed.

Really depends on the size and how complicated it is etc.. but generally up to 10-14 days of straight work.. a small cardholder would only be half a day

I wear size 41 (8us) on shoes that don’t have half sizes, but my perfect size for everything is 8.5US. I just copped a pair of Suicoke Zavo M2AB in suede and shearling for 50$ on an end of season sale. Tried size 8 and 9 and chose size 9. 8 were too flush, so if you wear them with socks it’s a bit tight, so i sized up.
