Cheers mate, enjoying making more ocntent, i'd just ask that subs like the videos, thought 3.3k views but only 99 likes, it helps the videos to get noticed, to be honest of the likes and views are low I will likely reduce the videos greatly, it's such a large amount of work and really need support from subs to make it worth while otheriwse it's just not worth it without the recongnition to be honest.

@@thehoxtontrend yeah that makes complete sense, you should focus on tiktok more I’m surprised you haven’t already? From my understanding atm the best way to push people towards your brand, few clips cut out of any video you make and then can post em on tiktok, + different audience/ more of the same. Just a thought, rn this is one of the only channels I feel like I’m not wasting my time on my screen with

It’s just not surprising the clothes look like a 50 yr old golfer from 2004 on holiday in Marbella. Sad to see them go but seriously you have to move with the times.

I used to work for Ted Baker back in 2016, and it always amazed me how it tried to sell itself as designer clothing, their outerwear for women was really good with some of their fitted coats being made from cashmere and wool, but the rest was low quality, their perfumes and accessories were things you could buy in primark but overpriced. They didnt keep with the times unfortunately, and their target audience no longer wish to spend the same amount when there's the likes of Zara which refreshes with each collection and a cheaper price point.

The quality of the gear has gradually went down to. Their old mens wool coats and bombers used to have habe cool suit style lining. Now its just bland made in china, no details crap. Primark/penneys level quality now

I worked for Ted for like less than a year because of them shutting down… and even when working there prior to liquidation in Canada nobody knew of the store and the patterns and clothing are quite… ugly 😭 they just needed a major rebrand but they flopped and now ofc im out of a job 😭

I never got why Ted Baker was a thing. It was just derivative of Paul Smith with ugly patterns and lower quality materials. By contrast some of the womenswear was quite nice.

They made nice shirts back in the day. Thats how they started. Funky patterns and good fits. T shirts were good too. Prices started climbing too high though for smart casual clothes which were aimed somewhere between mass market high street and designer high fashion.

They just haven’t moved with the times. Straight fit, dull and bland clothing. Always ‘smart’ back in the day.. but now people want and need better than this. I think this one (sadly) is a correct ‘fail’ - though sad people are potentially losing jobs. There like a dull Reiss (and Reiss is hardly exciting), but at least it’s clean and crisp looking

For too long a time Ted Baker was like a more expensive combination of Next and French Connection. The odd nice piece but generally tons of bland ‘meh’ stuff in polyester. Thing that annoyed me most (being a bigger built guy) was the sizing, if i ever did spot something i liked you could guarantee they wouldn’t have it/do it in my size. Shoes (in particular their brogue boots), i always found great quality. It will be a much bigger loss to women’s wear as i know they done some great stuff.
