I'm no tetris world championship scene expert, but I think you missed out on the fact that many tetris events are being held today. There was tetris meetups, Classic Tetris World Championship, Classic Tetris, and much more that I cannot name. I think this is one of the ways that helped tetris grow into a world sport - other than that - great video. Edit: Yeah there are a lot of KZbin and twitch channels that make this community so beautiful. There's the ctwc channel, ctm channels, Im not very active at following but there's too many channels for me not to miss.

I remember a few months ago, there was this thing held that these different schools would play e-games, and one of them was tetris. When my mom found out, she wanted me to try it out because my grandma introduced it to her, so she was rlly good at it. She taught me how to play it, but I wasn't rlly that good lol. Although I was able to get 3rd place when that happened, so I guess it was good enough. Anyways, for those who are reading this, I highly recommend playing this game since (just like what the video said) its pretty addicting that I still play it every once in a while. Love the video btw

OMG! I AM A HUGE FAN OF TETRIS!! I have played every version of it and currently addicted to a bootleg version. I keep deleting games from my phone when they get addictive inorder to avoid compulsive playing but I just am not able to delete tetris. my parents live in the past, when I was born in 2009, they still had flip phones. It wasn't because they couldn't afford a new one, they just didn't want a replacement. when I reached the age where I can remember thing clearly (around 3 years old), my parents finally got a modern day phone. Still, it was very old and you couldn't download anything. it came with really old games such as Pac-man and a wagon game, but my favorite, was tetris. I would play it all the time and refused to play any other game. To this day, it's still my favorite game, and playing it just brings back all the nostalgia
