@mikealanzo4 жыл бұрын
Yeah.... it kinda reminded me of the movie Coming to America when Darryl's family gets of the couch and leaves Soul Glo marks after them.... :) :) :) On a serious note, tire shine is the worst product to put on tires, it dries the rubber, and after some time you'll see small cracks in the tire.... not good!

Great review. I bought a CT4 2.0t to replace my 2016 ATS 2.0t. I loved the ATS but the CT4 improved on so many items. I like the rwd drivetrain. Back seat room is a bit cramped but I really don't need it. Very underrated car. Honestly, I like that there's not tons of them out on the road. Why drive a vanilla, boring Accord or Camry which are the same $$?? I've driven Cadillacs since the 1980s. Overall everyone I owned has been a great, reliable automobile. Even in the 80s with the dreaded 4100 motor I only had 1 Cadillac that needed major engine warranty repairs. In my case Cadillac has always stood by their products & so has the dealership.

I looked up the interior dimensions of this car and its not much different than the ATS which I’ve owned for 3+ years. I’m 5’8 and it’s a “cozy” car for me. Back seat would be a chore for someone 5’10 or taller. Just a 4-seater, it’s definitely a compact car. The ATS as I mentioned is not too different in size than this, and personally I don’t think it should even have had 4 doors. A “normal car” would be a full-size car, which this isn’t.
@james20424 жыл бұрын
Okay dude wtf. Is there a reason you are intentionally comparing Cadillacs to cars from separate categories? I am going to copy and paste the segments AGAIN (for the now 4th time). Is there someone from Cadillac misrepresenting these to you or are you really just this deadset on doing it yourself? "So here is a short list of compacts: 3 series - 185.7 in length, 112.2 in wheelbase, 71.9 in width, 3582 lbs curb CT4 - 187.2 in length, 109.3 in wheelbase, 71.4 in width, 3461 lbs curb C class - 184.5 in length, 111.8 in wheelbase, 71.3 in width, 3,472 lbs curb And here is a list of midsize: 5 series - 194.6 in length, 117.1 in wheelbase, 73.5 in width, 3902 lbs curb CT5 - 193.8 in length, 116.0 in wheelbase, 74.1 in width, 3659 lbs curb E class - 193.8 in length, 115.7 in wheelbase, 72.9 in width, 3792 lbs curb And here is a short list of sub compact: 2 series - 174.7 in length, 105.9 in wheelbase, 68.3 in width, 3386 lbs curb A class - 179.1 in length, 107.4 in wheelbase, 70.7 in width, 3285 lbs curb"
@RaitisRides4 жыл бұрын
Here is what was told to me: Cadillac has priced its new CT4 entry-level sedan starting at $33,990, meaning its base price is $2500 lower than the ATS it replaces. This goes along with a repositioning of the CT4-which is essentially a rebodied ATS with a new interior-as a rival to smaller entry-lux models such as the Audi A3, BMW 2-series, and Mercedes-Benz A-class. I am not trying to upset you and sorry that you are getting frustraed.
@james20424 жыл бұрын
@@RaitisRides by this logic of pricing, the genesis g90 is a mercedes e 450 and bmw 540i competitor. In reality its a S class and 7 series competitor, just way cheaper with corners cut. This is the exact same thing here. It is just really bad marketing then on caddy's part, as they should be advertising these as cars 20% cheaper than their German counterparts, while still having the same luxury. Them telling you they compete with cars of different classes just makes no sense. Only thing I can think of is they know their performance isnt up to par with the germans and they are pulling a nissan with the titan XD, calling it something other than what it is because they can't compete in the class the vehicle was designed for, due to a lack of powerful engines.

I'm very depressed & on top of this my life long childhood friend who did stick by my side through the thick & thin died Dec. 29th 2019 from heart failure. I'm on S.S. Disability for back issues & I have full medicare with State extra help which equates to Medicaid so my medical/health insurance is covered, my monthly S.S. income is enough to keep my head above water, but now that my life is upside down, I have no direction, I've been out of the work force for 19 years & never worked other than taking care of my mom 24/7 365 for 12 years. I would sell everything I own & move to Florida just to take on an internship under your guidance - that's how much I believe in you & like you. I'm 54, white, born again, no kids, & zero criminal past (other than a speeding ticket haha) I have nothing, I'd sleep on the floor of a garage, I need a purpose - I don't expect anything, but please consider my situation. I'm lost without my family (older sister does not care for me). I'm not too proud to ask for help. Tony p.s. I am as honest & loyal as it gets & I have a ton of audio/video experience & I'll work 12 hour days 7 days a week, I follow instructions well, i'm detail oriented & my dad who worked for Frisco/Burlington Northern Railroad for 35 years was also a Master Mechanic so I absolutely love cars. I wouldn't say that this is in the same body class as the 2 series. Those things are tiny.

xonestudio Well the CT4 is more in size to a C class and 3 series but Cadillac has its pricing lower to compete with the 2 series. Cadillac is hoping that when people r cross shopping cars they will get the CT4 because it’s pricing is similar to a 2 series but ur getting a car closer in size to a 3 series.

The 350 badge and the 400 barge on Cadillacs has nothing to do with the engine, period, it’s a trim package

WR ZL1 Nope. It has everything to do with the powertrain. It’s the torque output in newton meters rounded up or down to the nearest 50.

BMW - Precision, gaps and quality are better, the Cadi looks like a low budget Opel in Europe

The Letter and Number badging crap, Cadillac started a few years back, is, "definitely", quite confusing! 🙄 Definitely, looks entry level, rental look, for a, "Compact", luxury car... Thankfully they're keeping up with edgey lines in the body, and not softening them up like M-B, is starting to do in 2020. Positive, it's RWD! Your feedback on the road test, was better than I expected. Performance trim levels, on all their vehicles. Is where they'll, "Shine", IMO! I'm holding out for the CT6, "Blackwing"! 😳 LOL! 1) If I can get a hold of one... 2) If I can get financing, insurance, and pay for better roads to drive it on! 😵 Great review, and hello to the total eclipse, Tom! 👋 🏁🏁
