The ALL NEW Venue is making a BIG splash in the subcompact crossover SUV class! The Venue is replacing the Accent hatchback and slots in under the Kona. This review helped me decide to get the 2021 venue premium package. And it was worth every penny and I was surprised on how much more pep it felt like it had on sport mode. I've actually been passing people up comfortably when needed to. With the rebates and trade in and down payment got mine for a little over $14000

This little suv gets great mileage for the size. And it’s way bigger inside that it looks. Also comes with a spare tire. Visibility is great. Love the simplicity of the gauges. It’s cheaper too and more practical than a Toyota CH-R... especially if picking up kids they can open the rear doors. The C pillars are also good unlike the Toyota.

Just bought one of these and I gotta say I'm impressed with it. Very comfy ride, definite step up from my old 2011 Honda Civic LX. The infotainment system is nice, only had it a week so I'm still learning things about it. The sound system is pretty decent too, not all highs or flat sounding, it does have some bass to it, not a lot but it sounds good. I did notice that the floor of the trunk has 2 levels, you can pull the floor out and put it on the section above. I had a laugh when I heard a chime and read the message on the dash that said "Leading car is pulling away." or something like that. It's a good car for the price, mine doesn't have all the bells and whistles but it is the SEL model and I went with the Apple Green color.

I went for a test drive in the Venue and loved it. Great view out front and inside was great. Only thing was getting in and out. I'm 6 feet and the B pillar or door frame is in front of the seat and I half to go around that and squeeze in past the steering wheel anyone else have this trouble. this is the main reason why I cant decide to buy this. Makes me think the Kona is a better fit, literally.

We own a Venue, great car, lots of features. I think it's more a tall hatchback than a SUV. Wish they had a AWD version with the 1.6l turbo. I would run to the dealer to buy one.

Ethan Doud well you probably can afford a vehicle with soft touch since you are much older: keep in mind this vehicles cost and intended audience. Not everyone worries about hard plastic that is easy to clean. I can afford a Telluride but find this simple Venue charming. I got my $1200 stimulus so I’m running down to Hyundai to pick one up!

Don’t get me wrong, I like the car and it’s great in its class. Worlds above a Kia Soul imo. It was just my car person nitpicky self coming out in the comment. All the cars in its class have the plastics. I guess I just hope that one day, they can find another material to put in that’s just as easy to clean but isn’t plastic. Definitely to be expected with the class of car so definitely no gripe against Hyundai at all. What color do you want on yours or did you buy it already??

Joshua Rutter the Kona also needs that infotainment screen. That’s my only issue with the Kona is their screen design. Idk if you agree but it’s so big and bulky. Putting the venue screen in for 2021 would be a huge improvement

Ethan Doud I can appreciate that. I would buy one but I haven’t and don’t need to. I bought a VW Tiguan last year. It’s a 2019, and the doors and dash all have a squishy rubber - the center armrest feels soft too. It’s a good car. The backseat has a soft armrest etc. but it was $30,000 before discounts so it’s a heavier more luxurious ride with lots of bells @ whistles.

I like the Venue. I just do not want anymore SUVs in the market. I miss sedans, especially long sedans. But I know as you age, some people prefer the seating position with SUVS for their backs due to the lifted level. But I wished the market made more hatchbacks and sportback type of sedans and CUVS.

CTV engine.. It's meant to drive smooth not past 70mph. If you drive this at 70mph you will wear out the transmission real soon. Not meant to drive like a car, because it's not super responsive but it's an excellent point A to B trip if you are not a rushed person.

I have test drive this car the outside design is nice and pretty but the inside is made of alot of cheap plastic which turn me away. Try knocking the dash area its really hollow which is a waste for such nice design exterior.

Joshua Rutter Audi Q8 / Ford Raptor. I know many manufacturers stick it on top of the dash but this is stuck between the air vents. I think it’s a bit lazy and the easy solution for the manufacturers.
