Range Rovers don’t inherently have a lot of problems, it’s just that whatever problems arise tend to be expensive to repair out of warranty. Range Rovers just tend to be neglected by the female owners that buy this brand of vehicle. The weakest link is the air suspension on models that have it; it will eventually blow up, but that menace is present in every vehicle.

Viewed from the sides, the rear overhang (from the rear tire to the rear end of the trunk) makes the entire body proportions look ugly. I don't know why LR didn't do something about it for decades. The current model of the RR Sports, for example, looks a lot better now that they corrected the ugly-looking rear overhang which in the past was also over-extended.
