Picked up one of these in Limited trim same color. They feel a lot faster than they are in street driving. It's a really fun car that won't get you into too much trouble. I wanted a gray RS but could find one with miles and condition I wanted . No regrets.

I like those seats. Much more comfortable for me than the recaros in my 2016 RS. I know it is odd to prefer less bolstering, but I find them real world useful. If I do track stuff, I'll buy a Sparco or something and get real support. Love the color btw! --Michael

The moonroof delete also reduces weight compared to the models equipped with it, and lowers the center of gravity, improving the handling a bit. :-)

Compared to the 2018 Performance Package, the 2020 is worth the extra money. Short shifter? Yes! That STi gear knob? Yes! Brembo brakes? Eh! I'm ok with the 2018's Jurid brake pads. Thanks for this review. I enjoyed it.

Looking into trading my 09 ram in for a 2020 wrx with the performance package, I love the sound of the 2.5L but I would gladly sacrifice a few hp and rumbles for reliability, lighter weight, better mpg, and a 0-60 time. The wrx performance package seems right for me

Respect any man who wears shorts 24/7! Here’s what drives me insane about the WRX: the front spoiler points up. Yes. It’s not completely horizontal! WTH! I loved the WRX concept when it came out but the actual product looks bland. First thing I would do is add a front chin spoiler.

I love my 2020 Ice Silver WRX! It's a great color on this car! Though I didn't get the Sports package. Probably should have waited and just ordered the car the way I wanted it. Oh well. I still love it and I found a place that sells these calipers. that's what I really wanted in the Sports package. The seats are cool though.

I would love to own a WRX someday. The one thing that bothers me is the turn signal right about the fog light. I wish they moved it inside the headlight housing. That way there’s more of the paint showing in the front with just the fog to keep it sleek

I feel like Subaru's on a 10+ year model refresh cycle. It seems from 99' to 2019', we've had only 2 major changes to the WRX. 99'-15' same engine. 16'-19 finally the car gets a new engine.

2006 and 2007 WRX have 4 piston brakes front and 2 piston on the rear. Thoes where the first WRX to have them. I don't know what happen after that lol. I have 2006 WRX TR aka tuner ready is what they called them. That model was the basic because people were going to modify them any ways and there were affordable.

The WRX is enough power and more suited for me, and less expensive. With the performance package with the Brembo brakes, Recaro seats, and sunroof delete, and short shifter, I would probably just get the optional performance exhaust and some accessories and tint the windows. The Recaros should be perfect just as they are for me. The Limited would be nicer, but maybe not necessary, other than the stereo upgrade, but if the Rockford Fosgate option is still available, I could go with that. But I would get the dark blue. Very nice, but the 2020 Honda Civic Si is $10K cheaper, albeit no CD player, auxiliary audio input jack, Recaro Seats, Brembo Brakes and AWD with about 70 more Horsepower. But if I got a Subaru for performance, I would get this, or the Forester Sport, if I wanted an SUV in this price range.

Yeah it's pretty impressive. You can get an STI today for about the same relative price as you could get a WRX for in 2002. Most cars have done the opposite of the WRX.

Looking at getting either a used 2018 STI w/ 20k from Sub dealership, or a new 2020 WRX. Test drove both and the STI is so much fun right out of the box. Is it stupid to go w/ STI even though still under 'warranty'? Says limited 100k miles powertrain warranty. Any info would help. Need to test drive both again because didn't have a chance to drive either both enough. Thanks

I think in the end you will be way happier with the STI. Better gearbox, brakes, wheels, suspension and AWD system compared to the WRX.

This is a good car already. If the extra package is not a boost in horsepower then it’s not worth it.🤷‍♂️😐 Like 50 plus power would be cool so Subaru can bump up the wrx sti with another 150hp and Subaru will be making power moves .(no pun intended)

I can tell you for those that are excited about leather bound steering wheels that, NO, the steering wheel is NOT leather. My wedding ring has unfortunately rubbed off patches of my 2017 WRX 'leather' steering wheel and it is cheap, thin pleather crap. Love my WRX, hate the crummy steering wheel wrapping.
