In all honesty I’d say that is one of the best looking sports coupes on the market, from the exterior. Sadly where it falls behind is the interior, the transmission, the infotainment and-to a lesser extent-the engine. I am a former G35 coupe owner and really want to like this more, but it looks like I’ll be going with the new BMW M4 when the x-drive comes out in August. FYI though you can get this car for about a 15-20% discount off of MSRP. So if you just want an attractive, reliable sports coupe this is quite the bargain.

It is not underrated to folks that know cars--its overpriced.I got a 2020 AWD Stinger GT 3.3TT for almost 20k less then this. One sore spot is the brakes--for the price they should have had brembo do them.I replaced all my rotors with geomet cross drilled and vented and have a track level brake sysem on my car also for a lot less then this car.2021 are 60k now.
@ratedcars73383 жыл бұрын
I'm a big Infiniti fan, rooting for a comeback, but I definitely don't see this car as underrated. It's just really overpriced at $60k+. Having been in one for a lengthy road trip, there was a lot I loved about this car, but the lack of a DCT is a huge zonk that took a lot away from a sporty feel. The interior infotainment as well just does not even come close to BMW/Mercedes/Audi given that's the price segment this car is in (or even Lexus/Acura). That being said, the car looks phenomenal. Probably one of the best looking awd luxury coupe in its segment imo. Tightly designed, and very spacious for a coupe. It's a shame they cut some corners in some of the worst areas (DCT, infotainment), and priced the car so high up. Comparing this vs say, an Audi S5, Infiniti pricing/ value for the money doesn't stack up for this car.
@timmyjamess3 жыл бұрын
My suggestion.... Buy it used with Low miles. Worth every Penny.
@seanpoore5003 жыл бұрын
@@ratedcars7338 yeah I agree with you. 60k+ for this vehicle is overpriced for what you're getting. No ventilated seats. And for a sports car they should have offered a manual transmission, an or a dual clutch transmission, a fixed sport suspension, and a better driver connected steering system. Those are the main reasons I wouldn't purchase this vehicle. Along with it being 4k lbs for a coupe, which puts it at the same weight as the rs5. But heavier than the m440i by 300lbs. I'd rather go with an audi rs3. Have the same horsepower. Better 0-60, a unique engine configuration, better driving dynamics. And save money.

Your reviews are always spot on... I was a long time Infiniti owner and fan. I had a G35 then 2 G37s. I felt like the Q60 lost some of the soul of the G cars. It felt not fully baked. As you noted regarding the steering feel, the whole car got a bit numb by comparison. I miss the old exhaust notes of the G cars too. Beautiful car though. Wish they had released the Black Sport - something truly compete with M RS and AMG . I waited for it but ultimately went and got an AMG. Infiniti /Nissan has proven it can make outstanding performance cars Somewhere they lost the drive to do it. I get it though, the enthusiast market is a tough sell... But the Q60 is great for what it is.

Just like any vehicle, it has a few minor quirks, but I am extremely happy & pleased with my purchase! Puts a smile on my face when I hit the pedal! I originally came from a RWD Q50, night & day difference in the AWD vs RWD factor & handling. I used to work at the dealership and I will let you know that the $67,000 they’re asking for is definitely nothing close of what you will actually pay at the end 😎

Awesome & stunning car! Drove the AWD Red Sport for a week. Comfortable, solid & quick, but a LOT of wind & road noise on the freeway above 70 mph. Wear noise canceling ear buds & enjoy the ride.

These Infiniti coupes are ridiculously stunning. Just look at their oldest 2003 and 2004 g35 models. Here in 2021 and they still look stunning. But this q60 in my opinion is an excellent car except that they only offer auto. Really.

Looks like an upscale version of the Z. They should offer a manual trans as an option. Thanks for the ride Joe. Well done! 👍🏻👍🏻🇺🇸

The Infiniti coupes are just Z 2+2's. A 6MT would be very nice, the previous Infiniti coupe had 6MT option.

I love my Q60, but there is no room for space. The back seat is really not that great for passengers. Otherwise, this has been my best car ever! I did cannonball run in this car to Vegas, and boy was it super fun to drive at high speeds. Not saying that I broke the speed limit, or anything... LOL

I prefer the Q50 myself. These are used car bargains nowadays. I wouldn't go new for this price. Gr8 vid as usual, J.

Hey Joey! This is a fantastic review of a truly under appreciated sports car! I always do a double take when I see one-they look that good, you know? Thanks for spending time on this beauty. :) JV Johnny

They need to get real. They are not Bmw,not even Lexus, so they should be $12-15k cheaper. I own used 2014 Infiniti FX37, I paid $10k for. For this price, its a great car.

If only Infiniti made a V8 coupe to really go head to head with the RCF... I still dig the Q60 regardless. Thanks Joe 🤘🏾

They need to put that V8 from the late Q70 in there…maybe add a couple Twin Turbos on it. Or maybe the GT-R engine

Such a stunning exterior...and soldering on with the place you live only touched by updates!! Do love that V-6 near redline...and that is what?? Thx Joe....

It is always the interior design that irritates me when I look at an Infiniti. If they put a half of effort of designing the exterior into the interior, the company would have sold so many more cars.

Probably the ONLY car in its class with an unusual combination of the BEST TIMELESS EXTERIOR and THE OUTDATED CONTROVERSIAL INTERIOR!!
