Welp, I did (I have the Mazdaspeed 3) yet Mazda treats it like a red headed step child in practically every way. That said, this isn’t a hot-hatch. No one in their right mind is tracking this car. This IS a sporty alternative to the base Mazda 3 though. I’m glad Mazda is making this, even if it’s not for me.

Absolutely love the car and am still just as happy with my choice. I kept finding new cool things about it even after 6 months. Lots of extras.
@benf11112 жыл бұрын
@Dwayne501 the view is quite limited but there's multiple blind spot warnings (on the mirrors and the heads-up display as well as audible Blindspot warning system) that I never feel unsafe. Also, I really don't feel like I'm not able to physically see everything with the mirrors. Plus, the 360 camera is great. As a matter of fact, I almost didn't test drive it because I was worried about that but realized it was no problem after the test drive. I happened to prefer the dial system after having tested cars with a touch screen. I found that touch screens forced me to lean over and we're distracting whereas the dial is comfortably next to my hand and I have memorized how to navigate the system without looking. Also I happen to like the system's simplicity as compared to a bunch of eye candy but that's just me. I recommend you test drive and see if your concerns are answered or not too.

The interior of this Mazda 3 turbo is really up there. People say it's near luxury, but have they ever sat in a 330i or one of the entry level luxury cars in the segment? The interior is easily luxury level at this point. With Mazda looking to go RWD with the next Mazda 6 / CX-50, it will further solidify their hold on both the entry level econobox range and the stealth luxury segment.

I think the reason there’s no rear ac vents or usb connectivity is cuz of how tight the cabin is, so the front ac vents are close enough to the rear passengers to feel the ac pretty good and rear passengers are close enough to use the front usb connections as well….
@Thesaviorsway3 жыл бұрын
USB in center armrest. Is the one for the back passengers. AC is more than effective since they use the same component as the cx5 cx9 cx30. So the additional vents aren't really required.

Also, infotainment knob control a pain in the neck. And no AC vent in rear. Only owned the 2020 M3 10 months. Really miss the old zoom-zoom feel. As always, great review.

I really wish Mazda would back the true mazdaspeed models from back in the day. Or like make it their performance segment like Ford has the mustang branch

I don’t dig hatch’s much, but this is a nice one. Good job Mazda

The 3 hatchback remains a gorgeous car. I love the addition of turbo and not faking MazdaSpeed3. The turbo trim should have more than just the badge to set it apart.

Yea there really isn’t much indeed that separates things visually from the turbo and the non-turbo. Ditto for the handling aspect of things. Unless you’re a huge Mazda fan you’ll likely miss the visual details. Then there is the whole trend of debadging. People are taking the turbo badge off. Yea, I spend too much time on Reddit....regardless of trim this hatch begs for attention. The turbo (vs. non-turbo) is about a second and half faster 0-60. Yea that’s something. Especially at the track. But the reality is.... no matter which trim or engine type you go with this is a fantastic and drop dead gorgeous car!
