I have to agree. I was looking at 911’s but the only one that you can get is the GT3 and I could not get one configured the way I wanted for anything under 176,000.00. So I settled ordering a Mach 1 Handling Package that will be redesigned and get a Whipple. Keep doing what your doing Joe. I love your videos.

The McLaren GT might just be one of the best daily supercars. An interesting comparison would be between the McLaren GT and Porsche 911 Turbo S, as the 911 offers the same level of supercar performance and many claim that the 911 Turbo S is the ultimate daily supercar. It would be a tough choice between the two, but even though the 911 Turbo S is faster, I just can't resist that flat plane crank V8 engine in the McLaren.

Whoever daily drive this car must be the luckiest guy on earth! It's a gorgeous looking car that's why it's hard to daily drive this without gathering much attention. I would personally go with a used McLaren Lp4-12c or a corvette if I just want to have fun without worrying about my car.

Was thinking the same thing. I’d probably go with the Turbo S just because I’ve been a 911 fan since I was a kid. But V8 with scissor doors would be very tempting

IMHO beyond a certain point, extra speed is not usable and just no longer matters. The GT is WAY better looking than the Turbo S, plus it comes with those unique dihedral doors 🙂

You're absolutely right about those doors. After pulling up at a gas station (570S Spider), a woman pulled up in an SUV and complimented me on the car. As I entered the gas station building, the teller said "Nice Ferrari!".🙄

By the way, the "random" aluminum strip next to the glove box actually says McLaren and lights up in different colors but only is available on the highest spec. For the top glass, there is a button that can dim so that less sun light can get through.

The GT is like the forgotten McLaren which I think is a pity because it's one of the prettiest cars they make. I'd definitely consider one if I could afford one. Nice work Joe, and great job as usual Lori!

Very cool car! The only negative I have heard on this one is the ride quality is firmer so if you are looking for a soft GT car, look elsewhere. McLaren is also still battling their reputation for poor quality control. I hope they have fixed that because it is a requirement in this class of car.

Raiti you’ve got these reviews down to a science. Fun technique drive experience and that oh so sweet on throttle. I was actually surprised to see Mclaren build a true GT car when everything else Is absolutely crazy supercar with a nice interior yet not the luxury which has been added to this GT.

720s does everything the GT does better and it’s looks keep improving. At the other end of the luxury supercar spectrum is the ultimate quiet package -the M5 CS.

Have you driven any Supercars my guy 720s is a track monster sure but this GT is better for the 99% of where drivers are which is on public roads. M5 CS is horrible on public roads but is a track weapon.
