You mentioned you didn’t like these seats compared to Porsche carbon buckets. That’s because these are the regular buckets which are ok. However, you could’ve optioned this car with the fixed carbon buckets which are on par if not better than porsche. That’s what I have in my CSL and there is absolutely no movement.

I think the side skirts definitely should of been in carbon fiber. I'm waiting to see a video of a CSL with the manhart powerbox in it. Supposed to jump it up from 543hp to 700hp. Add a down pipe and no cat mid pipe and different cold air intake. Love to see that on a Dyno.

@@deesplash7087 it cost me peanuts to make that 5.0 go faster than stock. The flaw from the factory were the wheels. I got better rubber in back, added a better clutch to the T-5. @325lbs of torque on a solid 8.8 limited slip differential it was able to get high 11.s in the quarter mile. I had a 2002 540i that was smooth but just couldn't charge like the foxbody.

@@RaitisRides of course but now everything is electric. Electric motors in the steering column, seats etc. all these things require wiring harnesses. The wiring harnesses are crazy now. Not to mention manufacturers keep putting screens in the dash. The screens are ruining cars. I want manual buttons again and no more screens.

I'd take a Z06 and especially a GT4RS over that any day of the week. The engines in those cars are magical. This is just a M4 with a tune and CF bits on it.

@@wolfsosa95 1. I doubt BMW will give Toyota the S58. It will cannibalalize sales of the BMW M products. People will go buy a Supra since its gonna be lighter and handle better than any M car and BMW doesn't want that. 2. If the Supra will have it, you gotta wait for the Z4M first since they are the same car. And seeing how BMW didn't offer a M version of the last car, I doubt they will do it with the current gen.

Yeah it’s basically a b58 with larger turbos, and less compression ratio. Still a 3 liter, and heavily overpriced. The lag is very noticeable. You want power. Just get a vr38

⁠@@2seepyou’re a moron, the internals are fully forged unlike the b58, the bore stroke ratio is less undersquare to favor higher rpm power. The cylinder head is 3d printed and has much bigger valves. The engine is built overall to withstand more abuse and about 80% of it is unique not shared with the b58. The p58 racing engine (gt3 cars) is largely the same as the s58 (block bore stroke internals). Get it right. Don’t be ignorant! Oh the s58 has only been in m3/m4 since 2021 and the aftermarket is what drives how fast these engines actually become. The vr38, 2jz, have been in production far longer with way more aftermarket development. However they are still far less advanced from the factory. These are facts.

The older CSL M cars are titans among giants. I am not 100% sure if the G82 CSL is quite there. A lot of zonks from the normal M4 are carried over, only other software for the engine and gearbox (hardware is the same). Same wimpy rear break calipers, same fake side vents … It is a cool car, but does not blow me away … like 7/10 😊

Call me old fashioned but I don't care for infotainment centers or digital dashes. It's why I'm not going to bother with a newer model and I know I'm in the minority but I prefer having a cd player cause I like listening to music cds on long drives. I adore the CSL version look of this M4 and the sound is great too. If I was to get an M series BMW, it'd probably be the M3 but for the right price and features, the M4 may be on my list.
