I just ordered a Sarge Green 392 on Friday afternoon. Won't be a 20th Anniversary model because it will be a '24, but it will otherwise be identical to this one, less the power top (didn't want that). Thank you SO MUCH for doing this video. I've been torn about the color for the weekend and was wondering if I made the right choice. Not that I see this, I know I did. BTW, I am from Clearwater Florida, now living in Tulsa for the past 10 years. I have been watching your vids for the past couple of years and they are always awesome! Here in Tulsa, our roads could have a contest with those in Michigan for pot holes! This is gonna be FUN!

Joe! Man, I loved this review. You were having so much fun with the Rubicon 392! That thing is a beast!! I initially thought 700+ HP SUVs were the thing, but this is waaay better! Nobody's taking their Ferrari Purosangue or Lambo Urus off road, but this bad boy is fast, looks great and is capable of going rough riding, through the water AND with the top off. This might be the king right here.

Same here. I'm on my 2nd jeep as well. I had a 2016 jeep Rubicon in white . I ended trading that in to get the jeep gladiator Rubicon. Both have been great.

Just buy a 6cylindee rip super chargers just came out with a new kit for 21-23 models so you can buy a Willy’s loaded up nice for 55k then add the super charger for 8500 all in with labor and tuner too!! You will have 410 hp at the wheels more than a 392 stock for 25k less!! It’s a no brainer and fuel economy will be 25mpg too!! Save save in insurance too

Most people don’t really care about cooled seats in this thing. It’s not a luxury vehicle, if you want a luxury Jeep you get a Grand Cherokee or Wagoneer, people buy this for its style, it’s capability and most importantly the engine. No other car in this segment has a V8, yes the Defender and the G Wagon do, but those are astronomically expensive, way over 100k. At least the very best 392 Wrangler is still under 100k MSRP.

It will be one of the last big V8 treasures.... The only thing that can put a smile on your face that big. It is true proof that you should not ask what the fuel mileage is because, just like you Joe, we will all be sucked into hearing that glorious motor sound and only getting about 7 miles to the gallon!! What a piece of engineering....a true dream machine! Even the right color. Only shame is, to go with the color scheme, the rims should be copper as well. Would have been the nice touch.

Always love your reviews, Joe, but this one is over the top! My wife (yes, I said wife) has a '22 392 Wrangler with the XR package, while I am forced to make do with my '21 Rubicon Gladiator and it's measly V6! I keep looking for that LOUD button in the Gladdy, but alas, it's missing! I wish they made a 392 version of the Gladdy, I'd trade for it today! Great review Joe, thank you!

Love it. The 20th Anniversary edition is a bit much. Especially given the release of the 2024. But get a 392 Jeep of some kind... while you can! They're just going to keep getting more and more expensive, especially when they stop making them soon.

What a interesting color. Do you think they put the V8 in the jeep gladiator Rubicon? Also I have had the normal jeep before, it's a fantastic daily as well. On top of that it handled trails amazing when towing a trailer around the grand canyon.

Been there and done the V8 swap in a JKU. Did both LS and LT conversions. It’s fun, but it comes with issues and compromises. Can’t wait to take delivery on my Wrangler 392. Am I selling my LT 10spd swapped JKU? No way. It is what it is as far as issues. When it runs, it makes all the issues worth it.

Exactly. I did 3 weeks in my 2016 White jeep Rubicon out West in 2017 . It was able to get through the trails by the Grand canyon and parts of Utah with no issues. That's also with a loaded trailer as well.

Joe, with the power top option, the roof is not removable. However, the rear side windows behind the rear doors are removable when equipped with the power top. Now if Jeep would only fix the underlying paint blistering issue (due to the aluminum panels) that has been plaguing the JLs since 2018. I did a video on this issue with our 2019. Any yet Jeep continues to roll them off the assembly line and then repaint them a few years later when the issue starts. Buyer beware.
