The EV push wasn't what Ford or other automotive manufacturers wanted excluding Tesla. The new government Cafe Fleet regulations requiring increases in fleet mpg and reduction in carbon emissions. Ford has Only Two EVs in the US. The Mach E and F150 lightning. Stellantis discontinued their Hemi vehicles likely due to the millions of dollars in government fines. I believe the aforementioned Ford EVs helped balance their fleet mpg numbers helping keep the new higher horsepower S650 Coyote V8 in the Mustang.

LOL 😂 Dark Horse R Sorry to say is not the ultimate Mustang . You would be better off buying a GT4 Mustang or Shelby FP350S If you can find one . The Shelby GT350 and GT350R is the best track Mustang ever built for consumers. The reviews are in and they're not that impressive basically saying it's a S550 with a refresh . I know Ford is still putting in V8 and manual but the sad thing is Dodge is still going to outsell them 3to1 , But on the good hand I think there's gonna be a huge increase of buying 20-21 Mustangs Due to they are very easily tunable . A whole group of us at the garage are laughing our ass off over the graphics . Joe you always do a great review just keep it honest .

I would rather get an RC F Track Edition for 102K if I have that much money, a bulletproof V8 with a Lexus reliability and that is Track ready and doesn't break down or look hideous inside out like this. Plus I can use the left over cash to Supercharge the Lexus V8 from 472HP to 600HP+ and doesn't blow the engine, 2UR GSE sound is much better than any American V8 honestly. OR buy the pre owned 2017-2020 Shelby GT350R Ford Mustang which nails down the Mustang look and matches the Ford V8 heritage and has more HP than this plus can be used on both Street and Track. Oh also this has Flow-Formed wheels not even Forged, that is a joke. Lexus offers IS 500 with BBS Forged even and RC F as well. And RC F Track edition has Brembo Carbon Ceramic brakes plus a ton of Carbon Fiber - roof, hood, front spoiler, rocker-panel splitters, rear diffuser and fixed rear wing plus interior as well. Sorry this is a massive L.
