Just picked up the Skyline edition last night!! the interior is out of this world and the paint pops so much! It’s absolute beast the few miles I’ve driven it around. Was able to get it for 151k out the door.

I have a 2024 T-spec in Jade Green. I was on the fence between a C8 Z06 And the GTR. 140k later no regret love the GTR. So much aftermarket support tried and true engine setups.

Midnight purple is the one! But, I will take any new GTR!!! If you consider the care, R&D, evolution of the engine and legendary AWD, the consistent improvements, whether small or large that has been put into this car, you will realize that it is a solid choice! What dreams are truly made of! And it still is a looker and very special! Hopefully Nissan doesn't do anything radical in the future, to pander to those complaining about the refresh. The balance is there now.

I had a 2017 gtr. It needs better performance, it no longer keeps up with modern supercars. I hope it doesn't go electric it's already super heavy. But I'd buy one if the r36 stays ice. Cheers.

They hadn't changed hardly anything with the GTR since the 2009 model when the GTR's MSRP was $69,000. Now, Nissan wants to sell the same car with a little more HP for over $130,000. Nissan used to pride themselves on making affordable sports cars like the GTR and Z. But now, the prices on both cars are just outrageous and not worth it anymore. I love the GTR, but not enough to get ripped-off in buying one. I would rather now get an AWD BMW M8 Competition for the same price or the AWD Chevy Corvette E-Ray. With the M8 and Corvette everything is updated and looks better. The only reason why Nissan can price the GTR this much is because they are limiting production on it now. If Nissan says they are loyal and love their enthusiasts, they are lying....

What you get extra is a legendary platform that is good for 850whp with full bolt-ons and runs in the 9's depending on tire set-up etc. Also, it's iconic and timeless, can be used as a daily driver.

Well it still looks the same that it did in 1979 when it first came out. Even the GTR did some changes in 2017 and since then changed the suspension in around 2020. And changed its front end for the 2024 model year. Since you want to argue little changes along the way.

I guess I'm going to be the jerk with complaints so here goes... I've been a fan since the late '80s when I saw a 1972 in a parking lot and had to know what it was. All these years later I still love every iteration (I think the R33 is seriously underappreciated) but I've grown a bit frustrated with Nissan. First, since the R35 was released over a decade and a half ago there have been several small changes but they've all been pretty minor. That's a long time but the R35 has managed not to look "old" for a car designed so long ago. My issue is that it has become more and more bland with each cosmetic change. The 2014 looked far better than the 2024. Those early versions looked more aggressive. Their lines were better. Of course looks are subjective and that's only my opinion but that leads me to the other issue I'm having with Nissan. The MSRP on the R35 currently ranges from $125K up to $235K (not counting dealer markups). That is a preposterous price for this car. They can make whatever claims they want but I believe 100% that the prices are why most of us rarely see an R35 on the road. If Nissan dropped the MSRP to the $80K-$135K range they wouldn't be able to build them fast enough. With almost every automaker putting out fresh, exciting versions of their sports and super cars I can't see spending a few hundred grand for a "new" car originally designed more than 20 years ago. Of course no one cares about my opinion but there it is.
