FIRST LOOK:The Tacoma is all new for 2024 and Toyota has some surprises. The X Runner sits on Bilstein dampers with the rear air suspension from the Tundra, functional hood scoop and aggressive body work. On the inside you will get the special sport seats from the TRD Off Road Pro, 14in infotainment screen and digital gauge cluster. Under the hood is a 3.5L twin-turbo V6 with the Toyota Performance Pkg & mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission. Is the 2024 Toyota Tacoma X Runner the BEST new performance truck?

Get ready to shell out some cash. A bone stock Tacoma runs $43,000 MSRP. I bet a X-Runner will cost $90,000 MSRP, but with Toyota Dealerships mindset. I bet it will be a nice $20,000 premium due to limited number production. So it will be up there in the $110,000 price range the first year or two.

Not a huge Toyota fan, but this is really cool. I'm digging the exterior mods, but also the fact that they went wild with the performance mods. So often, these trucks are mechanically stock, or run very mild modifications. This is insane.

I still own my 2005 Tacoma XRunner and still enjoy it. The only disappointment is it doesn’t have the manual transmission. Hopefully the production will have the option of a manual transmission.

Being an a current x-runner owner 2006. This truck is gorgeous! Couple things it needs. A rear window that drops down. Sunroof. And the suicide access door. And bring Back the manual. Other than that bravo Toyota. She’s a beaut!

I've had four Toyota trucks before my recent Nissan Titan from 2018 and the only reason I went away is because you didn't have a 6 1/2 ft bed with the full crew cab in 2018 on New Year's eve. But I have always dug the X runner. One of my friends has an absolutely beautiful red one that he bought used and then put $100 of detailing into it and it just looks insane with all of these super sporty badass vehicles, you are winning me back quickly

Still my favorite truck ever was the SRT10 Viper truck, I had 5 of them including a 2004 VCA edition that was custom built and had over 1000 horsepower. Couldn’t drive here in Florida too much traffic so I sold it and bought a 2023 ZL1 convertible in Riverside blue !
