Love the Metabo hpt reviews. Just picked up the 36v sawzall from lowes with a battery starter pack for 180$ for my new welding buisness so we’ll see how long it lasts with heavy metal cutting and abuse. That’s why I was liking the ip56 rating on their drills and such as well. The corded function is also nice so I’m not killing batteries when I’m cutting 1/2” plate

We have had multiple 18V triple hammers and 2 36V triple hammers The 36V does run a bit cooler and has a bit more power but we all prefer them over the red ,,green and yellows for driving screws-especially deck and self tapping metal screws

The skipping hammer is part of the design. Try running a bigger lag in with the second setting, and compare it to the power setting. You will feel a difference, and you will see a driving speed increase.

Truth. First thing I did with my hex driver shown here is put a fence up. Round about 120' of 8ft fence sections, 4inch and 6inch outdoor coated torx25 drive fasteners. Didnt even discharge a full 36v battery, I live in Florida and it was late June. No overheating and damn its like the boards were sucking the screws in versus actually trying to drive them in. They aint playing when they say 6inch fasteners in 2seconds i think was their claim. First 100 or so screws i accidentallt buried along with the bitdriver. Now that I am used to it all other drills feel like kid toys. Just no stink for the stank. Metabo has that jam boy itellyawhat

As an actual Metabo user (dark green) and Hikoki(lighter green), I cringe calling Hitachi/Hikoki gear "Metabo hpt" 😅

Dude, facts. I just call them the Metabo. Or by their tool use "half inch = impact, driver = hex drive, grinder=grinder saw=circ saw" 36volt is where its at. The S is a soft start for self tapping The P is "hold my beer full stank" driver mode The half inch square drive impact has S as a assembly mode where the driver stops the second it touches the surface of what you are assembling. Great for valve covers and intakes as the risk of trigger discipline failing the user is nonissues. 18v Metabo is perfectly great for the home user for sure. Unless ya gotta build an entire house. The 36v stuff will keep asking ya "you gonna work yet? I aint even tired bro." That 36v platform is power dense and from dead the 4amp hour 36v packs only take maybe 90 mins tops to charge back to 100%, the source is I own these tools. I felt Milwaukee was far to proud(in pricing) of their tool range and Metabo supports the parts and service for older Hitachi branded stuff as well as USA repair service with a supposed 48hr turnaround. Nothing Ive owned through Metabo has had any failings requiring service as of yet. I only owned their new HPT stuff for the last year and a half. Id love to see someone out that 60v dewalt and the huge Makita cordless grinders against the Metabo 36v grinder though. I do get the feeling Metabo either stacks up equal or outshines in either battery life or capability. Its just a feeling Sadly I cant spend every cent on power tools@ And who really needs a throne made of Metabo cordless tools and batteries..... .....not saying I wouldnt Just Who else wants that throne? Uncomfy but some damn fine tools

@@threadtapwhisperer5136 check out Tools & Stuff. He has a comparison vid with the Dewalt & makita 40v. And Hikoki sure does come out infront. In Aus we just got the new Hikoki 36v grinders, they boast more power so I'm keen to see how they go
